I had a good experience at Montrose and would go back. Andrew and Jason were great.However, I’m in a gray area about recommending family/friends because of one hiccup, which caused me some anxiety/ stress Andrew and Jason were great.However, I’m in a gray area about recommending family/friends because of one hiccup, which caused me some anxiety/ stress.When negotiating an interest rate, after 2-3 trips back to the office, the best rate Andrew could offer was 6.19%.We felt we could do better at our credit union.We left and drove to Erie and within 45 minutes had a check in our hand at 5.44%.Drove back to Kingsville the next day with check in hand. Andrew wasn’t there so Jason helped us- great guy.We explained what we did and he asked if we minded telling him what we got for a percentage rate- and we told him. He left the office and came back and told us we could have gotten a 5.39% rate at Montrose! He even ran the numbers and it only came out to a buck or two less per month than we were paying. So we just purchased the car with our check in hand.If we were given that percentage the previous evening, it would have been a done deal. We wouldn’t have had the hassle of driving to Erie, another credit check, driving back the next day,wondering if the car would still be there,etc.Just couldn’t figure out how the percentage rate changed so much from Friday afternoon at 4:00pm(6.19%)until Saturday morning at 10:00am(5.39%).
