It's no wonder these circumstances made me a little leery about the process of buying a car. It was, therefore with my usual amount of trepidation that I visited Carter Chevrolet with my husband yesterday. We had seen a Silverado advertised on Facebook for a really fair price, but I was convinced that this was not actually the price after all the taxes and fees were added. To my great surprise, it was the price, plus one small fee! Bottom line? We drove it, we liked it, we bought it, with lower interest than our bank had quoted? No high pressure, no smoke and mirrors, no nothing but a good, honest deal! Take my word, if you feel the way I did about buying a car, you owe it to your self to give these folks a chance to change your mind. More

I started my search at another dealership in Okarc Being a first time car buyer I was nervous as heck going to the dealership to even look at a truck. I started my search at another dealership in Okarche but it just didn't feel right so my dad told me just to go look at Carter and see what they have. Long story short I have never felt so welcomed in by people who wanted to take my money hahah. I never once felt pressured or any of that stuff you hear about at big city dealerships. all in all I will forever recommend Carter Chevrolet to family and friends. More

We made plans to meet up the next day just to LOOK at it. We weren't really sure if we wanted to buy. There was no pressure from the salesman (Kolt) or any of the other sales team. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. They offered us a very fair price for our trade in and gave us a couple of options for payment. There was a great rebate program going on that weekend too. We were still undecided, but we were still not pressured. There was no haggling. We received meal tickets to have lunch at Eichen's and told to think it over before making a final decision. In the end, we did purchase the truck, and WE LOVE IT! This was the best car buying experience we have ever had! We'll definitely use them again in the future. More

Not a motto. A mission. When I first heard the radio commercials for Carter Chevrolet I heard their signature phrase: "Making friends and selling cars. In that order." and thought to myself, "now that's a great motto." So great, in fact, that I checked out their website, made an appointment to view a used vehicle, and made plans to drive from Moore, OK to Okarche, USA. I have no qualms about visiting Okarche since it happens to be the home of my favorite restaurant in the world, Eischen's, so regardless of whether we left with a car or not, the day was going to be great. The vehicle we had made an appointment to view was up front, gassed up, and already clean before we arrived about 15 min before they opened. Carter Chevrolet's dealership is anything but ordinary. The "showroom" is a low pressure environment that is filled with great historical pictures of Okarche, an overly friendly cat named Mouse, and the kind of people that you might meet at a backyard barbecue rather than the typical salesmen that swarm customers before they even exit their car. We were immediately greeted by the retail manager Jason Leck and shortly joined by our customer service representative Kolt Byerly. We test drove the car and I knew that it was a car that was under-promised and over-delivered on. This vehicle was better than we were expecting. When we returned, Kolt spoke to us about what we wanted to pay for the car, what we wanted for our trade and 5 minutes later we were done with the deal. Instead of making us sit around until they were ready to finalize the paper work, they sent us across the street for free fried chicken and when we returned with full stomachs, we finalized the deal and left. My review of Carter Chevrolet can be summarized with this observation. "Making friends and selling cars. In that order." is not just a motto. It's a mission statement. One that this dealership lives by every single day. Everyone from Kolt, our service rep, Jason, the retail manager (who happens to also know the same people we do!) to the big man Cody whom chatted with us like old friends, were indeed people I would call friend. People that I would open my home to. I will never shop for a vehicle anywhere else. Period. This dealership has earned my business, and the business of anyone that will listen to me! They went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and I never felt pressured to make a decision- which I have definitely felt dealing with other dealerships. I had the whole Carter Team working with me on my purchase, making sure I was satisfied.
