Ms. Paola Guiterrez; My sincerest apologies. When I spoke to Jackson he was surprised that you were upset and writing negative reviews. From his standpoint the reason for the "Two Oil Changes" was to offset the advertised miles of 25912, which was posted online, with the difference in miles you had mentioned of 26500. He offered this solution as a way of trying to resolve the mistake because we do genuinely care about our customers. We are sick that you see this as a bribe and not as a solution to a mistake. I asked Jackson what solution that you had figured as a remedy and his response is that you felt that was fair. I have had a chance to review this mistake and I have attached Kelley Blue book with the advertised miles as well as the Kelley Blue book with the miles you are stating. The difference in these miles is $100 dollars. Additionally, our vehicle was advertised for $25615 and we sold the vehicle to you for $500 under the advertised price. We are sick that the miles that were provided to the finance office as the exact miles on the vehicle at the time of sale was less than the miles that are on the vehicle. This is unacceptable and we have instituted a new process so that this never happens again by utilizing our get ready staff to verify that the miles on the vehicle match what miles are printed on the purchase order for the customer so there are two people looking at the odometer versus one that was our process. After speaking with all parties involved this was not an intentional mistake to defraud or mislead you. I do not see there was a financial advantage or any advantage at all to mis represent the miles on the vehicle. Even if there was and advantage it is NOT something Strong Volkswagen would ever do to sell a vehicle. It is NOT our way of doing business. In regards to the “Free” service for reviews this sounds like a misunderstanding of our VIP. Our VIP partnership program that you registered for models the same partnership program that You Tube offers there influencers. This is not free at all to the dealership. We pay to have all cars washed, scratches removed, dents removed, windshields repaired, and same day loaner cars for each and every customer that volunteers for the program. It does not cost the VIP customer a dime all expenses are on the dealerships advertising account. Just like the You Tube Influencer as long as our VIP customers friends and families are aware of the good experience they had at our store that VIP customer will never pay for the above mentioned items and that “good experience” will be covered and billed to our advertising account as long as the VIP customer owns the vehicle. We don’t, and our current VIP customer database, do not feel this is a bribe but as payment for sending customers to us. We truly hope you change your mind in not using our services as I don’t feel after communicating with the staff here that it was intentionally or maliciously done. We want you to make things right with you in hopes to be your dealership of choice down the road for services on your Tiguan.
