I’ve serviced my Mazda here for years and haven’t had any issues. When I was looking at upgrading, they had a decent selection of new vehicles but not very many used. Ivan was very communicative and thorough and kind through the entire process. I traveled 3.5 hours and he made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. I worked with Ivan Gutierrez at Mazda of Salem on a 2017 CX-5 Grand Touring and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. I went back and forth quite a bit on pricing, and Ivan stayed patient a CX-5 Grand Touring and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. I went back and forth quite a bit on pricing, and Ivan stayed patient and easy to work with the whole time — no pressure tactics, no runaround, just honest communication over text that made the whole process low-stress. He helped us land on a number that felt fair given the car's mileage and condition, and he took the time to make sure I understood all the warranty details clearly before we signed anything. It's clear he actually cares about getting customers into the right car at a fair price, not just closing a sale. If you're shopping at this dealership, I'd highly recommend asking for him. More
