Hello my name is Greg and I have been working at Honda of Lincoln for 32 years. Growing up I wanted to be Evel Knievel, Elvis or the Fonz, however when I was 22 years old I started selling cars and haven’t looked back since. I still like to sing and dance and in my free time you can find me working out, riding one of my many motorcycles or working on one of my classic cars. Some fun facts about me are that I enjoy listening to 50’s rock and roll and anything Elvis. My favorite meal is hamburgers and my favorite movie is Field of Dreams. The best part about being a Sales Consultant is the delivery, when customers come in to pick up their new car. I make the experience different at Honda of Lincoln by always being personable. As a sincere individual, I like getting to know my customers and turn them into friends. My motto is to always be kind!

Serendipitous Outing We knew our 2005 Odyssey was not safe to drive anymore (burning oil, overheating the capacitors) on long trips. It was to time replace it. One day w We knew our 2005 Odyssey was not safe to drive anymore (burning oil, overheating the capacitors) on long trips. It was to time replace it. One day when my husband and I were running a particular errand, we, on a whim, decided to go car shopping. Rarely does my husband do anything on a whim! He's a study-all-your-options-don't-rush-into-anything type of guy. I'm the maverick. At any rate, a good friend had told us about a salesman at Honda of Lincoln who could put is in a car that would be just right for us. The same friend warned us to make an appointment first since this salesman is VERY popular. Well, we took a chance and just showed up at the dealership. Greg was free to show us what he had--new and used. We found a 2014 Honda Odyssey with only 5,000 miles on it. By the end of the day we had bought it (cash) and we are LOVING it. It fits our family perfectly and has so many wonderful features, we can hardly believe it. The price was right, the color was right. The salesman put NO pressure on us to buy ANYTHING that day. He said, "I'll show you what's available and let you decide if any of these might meet your needs." That was the extent of his "pressure." We are grateful to Honda--and to God for putting all the pieces together for us. We want to use this car to bless others. More

Greg gives you all the time you need to make a decision, then sits down with you after the purchase to go over all the car controls and options. A complete job. We financed our last car with Honda due to a great low rate and Chad reviewed all the numbers with us and explained everything so we could easily understand. Both guys are very friendly and complete. I have back problems and had to sign the paperwork in my car. No problem. Chad and Greg handled that with class! Honda cars are quality products and this dealership is the icing on the cake. The service department is top notch, also. Especially Darrin Curry. Thanks. One last thing; everytime I went through their front door someone was there to open it for me! More

I've dealt with Greg before on a prior purchase and he treated me fairly at that time and this time. Greg listened to what I wanted and found the vehicle that matched my needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greg to my friends and I would definitely go back to Greg when I'm ready to purchase another vehicle. Chad Erwin was the finance director that I dealt with and he was great to deal with, he didn't pressure me to purchase any additional options. When I told him I was going to use USAA for the extended warranty, he matched their price. Both were great to work with. More

Praying to purchase the right car works! We had been on the lookout for a used Honda Accord for about 6 months. Our Honda sales guy, Greg Hoag, had our parameters and was keeping his eyes ou We had been on the lookout for a used Honda Accord for about 6 months. Our Honda sales guy, Greg Hoag, had our parameters and was keeping his eyes out for the right car. This would be our 5th Honda purchase from Greg, so we were extremely comfortable with him and knew he would do right by us. We had strict parameters: 5-7 years old, low miles (preferably under 50,000), excellent condition, and of course, for a fair price. This would be a reliable car to send our son to college in, and get him through the next 4-6 years -- until he can buy his own car :-) Unfortunately, no cars that met our wish list were coming in to the dealership. We were running out of time, and began searching for Honda Accords on-line and at other dealerships. We eventually found a used 2009 Honda Accord at another dealership, and made what I'm sure they considered a low-ball offer. They counter-offered by taking $300 off their list price. So we left. The next week, we went back to that same used car dealership and upped our offer by $500--they still wouldn't work with us on what we felt was a fair price. We just didn't feel good about this deal, so we delayed it by saying we wanted to think about it and had some errands to run. "Now what?!" So my husband called Greg Hoag at Honda of Lincoln and left him a message to call us back. I said, "This is a big decison, we're going to have to pray about it." So Kevin grabbed my hand while we were driving thru Lincoln, and prayed for God to steer us in the right direction as we make this major purchase. We were continuing to run errands when Greg Hoag called us. We were just a few blocks from Honda of Lincoln, so we swung in to visit. We explained to Greg that we were getting near to making a deal for a Honda Accord elsewhere, but we just didn't feel great about it. But unless he could come up with some options for us, we may have no choice. Greg said, "wait here," and went back into the Service bay area. A few minutes later, he came back and said "come with me." So we followed him out to the Service bays, where he showed us a 2010 Honda Accord that was jacked up, tires laying beside it, hood up, all dusty..."so what do you think? We just got this in trade yesterday and we're still going through it and cleaning it up?" We looked beyond the disarray and thought it was a beautiful car -- maybe a little too nice for a young man to take to college! Greg made us an amazing deal and we feel so good about this purchase. We are a loyal Honda family, and we appreciate the integrity and flexibility of this dealership, and consider Greg a friend who helps us with our auto purchases. Also, based on how everything just fell into place, I feel God set this in motion and I have a peace about the purchase that just was missing when we were looking at another dealership. More
