I've purchased two new Mazdas from Mazda of Elk Grove since March, 2013., and will continue to patronize your outstanding dealership in the future. Each member of the staff I dealt with, particularly Ga since March, 2013., and will continue to patronize your outstanding dealership in the future. Each member of the staff I dealt with, particularly Garrett Oxneas, was professional and efficient. They valued my time, shot straight, and did not insult my intelligence with gimmicks, deception, or pressure. Buying the first car, I kept waiting to be jerked around, but never was. Buying the second car was like settling a minor transaction among friends. Garrett and his associates were incredibly thorough and aware of every thing that needed to be done. It was fast, methodical, and 100% clear at every step during the purchase. I would also like to compliment your service department, especially Joe Holdsworth, who were all over a minor issue with the battery in the first car. I feel confident that I have received, and will continue to receive, the best deal, financing, service and overall treatment possible. Yours is a unique and exceptional dealership on every level. I am happy to share my tremendous experience with you. Sincerely, James D. Reevesman More

The experience started out well, but after I purchased the vehicle I requested a copy of the check list they use (the list that the sale rep states that it passed on inspection). After getting it home th the vehicle I requested a copy of the check list they use (the list that the sale rep states that it passed on inspection). After getting it home the first thing I got the next morning was a puddle of oil. I guess after I purchased the car they decided to over tighten the oil plug, crimping the 0-ring. About a month later while driving in the heat, finding out that the AC is not working, so looking at the hoses, find out that there was a leak in one that the inspector missed. Just fill it up so it works for the test drives. I also e-mailed the service manager asking for the check list again with no reply. I don't like writing bad reviews, but every time I drive the car, those things just keep bugging me. I will NEVER purchase another used car (maybe new) from Elk Grove Nissan. Sorry, Phillip Cumback More

I inquired online and Matt sent me a message asking what I was looking for. I gave him all of my specifications and desired price point and he found a car for me. When I got to the dealership, he already ha I was looking for. I gave him all of my specifications and desired price point and he found a car for me. When I got to the dealership, he already had the car waiting. Matt was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to work with Grant in the finance department and get us the deal that we were looking for. After that it was only a matter of signing and Grant made that part a breeze. I know that the biggest dread of car shopping is a pushy sales person or rude financing department, but Elk Grove Mazda was fantastic and did not have any of that. I highly reccomend both Matt and Elk Grove Mazda!!! P.S. DidI mention that I LOVE my car and that it's awesome!!! More

Why am I giving Mazda of Elk Grove a glowing review? The employees of Mazda of Elk Grove made buying a car enjoyable, easy, and fun. How many other car dealerships can I say that about? That's right, none. employees of Mazda of Elk Grove made buying a car enjoyable, easy, and fun. How many other car dealerships can I say that about? That's right, none. I'm now a happy Mazda driver! I needed a high-mileage, fun car for my daily commute, and after doing a ton of research online, I chose to visit Mazda of Elk Grove for a test drive. As I walked in, Ratish cheerfully greeted me, asked me a few questions, and off he went to task Matt to bring up a car for me to test drive (they were very busy on a Friday evening). Matt is a skilled salesman. He tailored his approach to me and my needs, and I never felt talked down to or marginalized (unlike the recent very bad experiences I had at other dealerships). He gave me all the information I needed to make my decision on which car to buy, and he did it with cheer, humor, and care. Just a few days later, I was happily driving off in my new Mazda3, My husband and I will be back to Mazda of Elk Grove to buy our next car, and the one after that. Matt, Ratish, Jaik, Steve and Grant have earned a lifetime Mazda customer. More

Things worked out in the end, but the middle was a hassle. Ratish was our first contact on July 29. He was nice but we couldn't get together on a deal. The offer for our trade in was laughable so w hassle. Ratish was our first contact on July 29. He was nice but we couldn't get together on a deal. The offer for our trade in was laughable so we decided to leave and sell it on our own. After selling the car we decided to try and work things out via phone beginning August 4. Just like when we went in we were unable to get things taken care of, although we were under the assumption that we were still working on a deal. On August 5th while waiting to hear back from a bank, we decided to go in since we hadn't heard back in hours. Although we were disappointed to find out that the car we were negotiating for was in process of being sold to another buyer, Anthony was able to find something similar to fit our needs and get a rate/payment we could finally agree on. Garrett handled the sale and even followed us home for the deposit and proof of income. We were also offered a free fill up when we had to come back in on August 7 to fill out a few documents that were missed (they were short on finance people on 8/5 so Anthony took care of the paperwork to get us out quicker). Overall it wasn't an amazing experience, but the friendliness of the staff and seeing the smile on my fiancee's face made it a pretty good experience. If I ever decide to purchase a Mazda again I would have no problem returning. Thanks! More

This was the 13th time I've purchased a new car. To compare this experience to the previous 12 would be like comparing an Air Force F-16 fighter jet in a dogfight with a field of single engine Cessna p compare this experience to the previous 12 would be like comparing an Air Force F-16 fighter jet in a dogfight with a field of single engine Cessna private airplanes. In other words, there is no comparison. I noticed they were voted #1 in some KCRA survey. I concur. Specifically: Anthony, the sale mgr, was straight foreword. I'm not naive enough to believe the game wasn't rigged (he IS trying to sell a car), but it was subtle enough as to be undetectable. I enjoyed working with him. Garrett was more about showing us the car's features than making a sales pitch which led, ironically, to an easy sell. Can't say enough about Grant, the finance guy. True story: When he told us "there's only one paper left to sign." I blurted out "Grant, this has been so enjoyable can't you find something else for us to go over and sign?" I also want to mention sales guy Ratish Singh. There were three sales types working that day, including Garrett and Ratish, but only one, Garret,t was going to make any $ off me. All three were busy yet Ratish went out of his way more than once to ask if he could get us water or soda. There's more I could write but I'd rather take the new car out for a spin. Ciao! More

I am very satisfied with the overall service received from Mazda of Elk Grove. Grant was extremely professional and efficient and made the end of the process smooth and fast. Garrette was a great help as from Mazda of Elk Grove. Grant was extremely professional and efficient and made the end of the process smooth and fast. Garrette was a great help as well. However, I did feel a difference when buying a USED car versus a NEW car. I felt that more priority and attention was given to those buying new cars vs used cars. I think all customers should be treated the same regardless if they are purchasing a new or used vehicle. Also, staff should be allowed to use cellphones only for work purposes and not for personal use. Apart from these little glitches, Mazda of Elk Grove is a great place to buy a car. Most of their staff is great, friendly and helpful. More

My wife and I have worked with Garrett Oxnaes for several weeks to research and ultimately purchase a Mazda 6. Garrett was fantastic to work with and patient with all our questions and gave us a great deal weeks to research and ultimately purchase a Mazda 6. Garrett was fantastic to work with and patient with all our questions and gave us a great deal on the car we chose. We had a few unexpected "emergencies" this month and missed several appointments with Garret. He was very understanding and patient. Likewise, Garret provided a very good presentation of the car and answered all our questions a few special requests. Everyone at Mazda of Elk Grove was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this dealership over the others in the area and hope to purchase our next car with Garret from Mazda of Elk Grove. More

We rated our new car buying experience at Elk Grove Mazda the highest possible rating because we appreciated that we got a tremendous deal and were treated with kindness and excellent manners by our salesman the highest possible rating because we appreciated that we got a tremendous deal and were treated with kindness and excellent manners by our salesman, Garrett Oxnaes, and our finance professional, Grant Saige. Garrett was so helpful! While he was thorough and persuasive, he never once crossed the line by being pushy or impolite in any way, and we have very high standards! We did not come to the dealership to buy, but came with the intention of looking only. However, Garrett's thorough approach, his hard work on our behalf (he truly did everything possible to get the best possible deal for us), and his courteous, smart, and friendly yet professional demeanor impressed us so much. Of course, we love our car--the Mazda 3! Garrett truly knows his products, which helped us to decide to make the purchase as well. Similarly, Grant Saige did a great job in finance for us. He was quick, yet thorough, and he knew all the right things to say to make us feel at ease and comfortable. We truly appreciated the new car buying experience at Elk Grove Mazda. More
