The experience is always so degrading and troublesome and after 2-3 hours at a dealership, negotiating, going back and forth with all the other little tricks played during the process, I normally walk away with the feeling of defeat only to have the salesperson call the next day with the deal I ultimately requested from start. NONE of the old school tactics were used during my visit with World Subaru of Tinton Falls, New Jersey. From the time I walked into the dealership and was greeted by JR, the experience was way above my expectations. I knew the car I wanted, JR presented the numbers and the deal was made all within 5 minutes of me entering the dealership. JR is very knowledgeable and he presents himself with a lot of confidence. I think I have boasted and bragged more about my experience with JR and everyone else at the dealership than I have about the awesome 2015 Legacy Limited that I purchased. I just hope 10 years from now when I'm in the market for another car, JR is still working as a salesman at the dealership. Good, honest and knowledgeable salespeople are hard to find. It was my first time buying a Subaru and it was a great experience, got a great deal. He never forces anything on you during the process and is transparent when it comes time to negotiate. He's no BS kind of guy. Since then I've been back for routine maintenance on the vehicle and JR always makes a point to say hello. He remembers you, stuff about you, and even checks up via text a couple times a year to make sure you're happy with the car. Car dealers in general get a bad wrap, they wouldn't if more were like JR. First time Subaru buyer I was told by a friend this dealer was friendly and not pushy. I had already researched the model of interest. Arriving on Sat. at the opening time, I was greeted warmly and assigned a salesman within 2 min. Salesman J.R. was friendly, knowledgeable and patient in answering all of my questions. As this was my first up-close look at a Subaru, I wanted verification of my online research as much of the newer technology was amazing. The test drive was awesome, and I found the Forrester was responsive, smooth to handle and comfortable, Everyone at the dealership was eager to please. My only issue was the time the entire process took to complete, approx. 4 hrs. Salesman J.R., ever the gentleman, kept me informed and apologized for the wait. He was fully respectful, pleasant and smiled, a cheerful soul. More

To make a long story short, by the end of an hour looking glen pulled up the perfect car, they were awesome with the price and finance was great too.. Glen Miller the Sales & Leasing Consultant, was professional, polite and answers all my questions I noticed a minor scratch on the passenger side fog light, he didn't say the popular phrase "IT IS A USED CAR", he immediately accessed his computer & evaluated the part cost and offered me 2 options either to replace it at their service center or to deduct the amount from the car's value. Another thing to mention, usually dealerships have other hidden fees to charge the customers that will raise the "internet price" at least 20% more, once they come to their lot, that was not the case. Glen Miller managed to drop the car's price 5% off of the published internet price. Upon signing the contract Mike D'aiello explained every and each paper and was SUPER CLEAR on what I would expect from after-sale services. He didn't push me to sign extended warranty with them instead he gave me a week long to think about the extended warranty in the same discounted price he offered. More

Great Sales guy among crooks My Salesman, Glen Miller, was AWESOME. As a previous WRX owner, I'm a car enthusiast and Glen knew exactly how to handle my new car. Called me as so My Salesman, Glen Miller, was AWESOME. As a previous WRX owner, I'm a car enthusiast and Glen knew exactly how to handle my new car. Called me as soon as the car arrived, put it away in the back so that no one would touch it, except when it had to be detailed. He made sure the front bumper was not drilled for the license plate. Experience with Glen was great! My issue is with the people in the back - Finance guy (Mike Warnock). This guy has to be one of the most dishonest people at this dealership. The guy can't be trusted, never responds to emails or phone calls unless he's hounded. He was not clear or concise when explaining the warranty during the purchase. The guy just threw numbers at me like he did with the other negative reviews posted earlier. The experience would have been better if he gave reasons as to why he was offering a service/warranty instead of just skimming through it all as fast as possible. For example, WINDOW ETCHING should not be done without the approval of the customer. I had to read through all the paper work when I got home without all the pressure. Once I was able to understand all the services/warranty I purchased, I requested to cancel a portion of the warranty (Etching/Tire Care) the following day. Conveniently enough, credit was applied at a prorated amount 2 months after the effective cancellation date, instead of the full amount from the date originally requested. I'm feeling very uneasy about going back to get service done to my car if this is the kind of treatment and experience I've had so far with this dealership. More
