With a Prius, 2 Avalons and 2 4Runners under our belt, I have nothing but great things to say about the dealership and our salesman (Quincy Smith). He has been with us from day 1. When we set foot into the dealership, we are welcomed like family. So much so, I went in to pick up a bug deflector for our new 4Runner and walked out with a new Avalon. Quincy is very attentive to the customers needs. I have learned that he will not try to oversell you to make a quick buck, but gives you what you want/need, so that when you return to get your next vehicle you will happy to do business with him again. Paul Wright....what do I say about him? Hilarious guy, but he knows his stuff. He sure know how to make you feel good about spending your money. He does this to help you protect your investment. Thank you Paul. Gary Dos Reis and John Durrani, although I only worked with you for a brief period of time during this sale, you professionalism and knowledge were key to the sale being a success. Great price and service on a pre-owned vehicle I've owned Audi's for 30 years now, and need to buy them pre-owned, since they are way too pricey new. A-1 Toyota picked up an A6 Avant on trade-in w I've owned Audi's for 30 years now, and need to buy them pre-owned, since they are way too pricey new. A-1 Toyota picked up an A6 Avant on trade-in which caught my eye so I drove down from the Boston area to check it out. It was in great shape, they would not barter on the price, which put me off a bit, but then I went off to do my homework, and realized that the asking price was about as good as I could hope for. The price included 4 new brakes and rotors, and 4 new tires. I requested top end rotors and Primacy Michelin tires, so there was a bit of an increase, but it was provided as their discount cost. My lead sales person Kayla was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive to details, as were the other managers with whom I interacted. I decided to take the train from Boston to pick up the car, and A1 Toyota had a driver at the door at New Haven when I arrived. The detailing job was impeccable on the vehicle, and the drive back to Boston was a real pleasure on a 7 year old car which drove, looked, and smelled totally new. A1-Toyota did a fantastic job on the new tire balancing and front end alignment as well as the breaks. I was also most impressed with the heritage of this company. It is worth checking out. More

Time for a new Toyota The last new car we bought was a 2003 Toyota 4Runner in Atlanta, GA, and after so many years of excellent quality/service, we decided to look at the n The last new car we bought was a 2003 Toyota 4Runner in Atlanta, GA, and after so many years of excellent quality/service, we decided to look at the new 4Runners. (For the record, this makes the 5th Toyota I've owned over the years starting with a used Celica in 1981.) Since we'd had service a few times at A-1 over the years, we dropped in to drive the new 4Runner. From the minute we walked in the door, it was like we were long, lost friends. To a person, they made us feel important from the first. Then, we found out that they are a no-haggle (and I mean no haggle) dealership, we were even more impressed! When we decided we wanted to drive the Highlander Hybrid, they didn't have one, so we went to another dealership to take a ride. This dealership (which will remain unnamed) was a "full" haggle dealership, and after a few hours, we finally struck a deal. Upon reflection, though, we realized that we liked everything about A-1 more, not to mention that they were closer to us. When we reached out to them, they were super kind once again. As it turned out, though, they could only essentially match the price from the other dealership (I think it was less than $200 in total deal, including a trade-in of our 2003 4Runner). Even though we decided to stick with the initial deal, we had barely walked back into our house when the general sales manager of A-1 called to tell us how unhappy his folks were that we didn't strike a deal. After putting their heads together, they figured out a way to save us about $200 more on the accessories we wanted, and they won our business. To a person, we enjoyed working with the team at A-1. And since we already knew their service department, it was a no-brainer. Oh, and we were close enough to this dealership to take advantage of their free shuttle whenever the car was in for the scheduled maintenance. All-in-all, we can't say enough about all of the folks we met with and dealt with at A-1. To us, there's no better Toyota dealer in the area! More
