Went in for an oil change My visit was a good visit I had a coupon for an oil change which I believe it was a good price 49.00 with the coupon. This was my second visit my first oil change was a complimentary one so it was free. As before the greeter at the sales desk was very courteous and nice. And service was good. Over all I will go back again. unfortunately I don’t recall the gentleman at the front desk name. But for being a busy day on a Saturday he was very nice. (He was wearing a jacket that had A Chicago logo on it if that helps with who he is.) More

Misleading pricing on website I went to Hawk Ford on Saturday 11/9/2020 to buy a 2020 Explorer which I saw listed on Hawk's website. After the test drive, we sat down to talk price I went to Hawk Ford on Saturday 11/9/2020 to buy a 2020 Explorer which I saw listed on Hawk's website. After the test drive, we sat down to talk price. The dealer was offering a price which was higher than the price offered on the website. I cited the Hawk Discount that was advertised online and I was told that I didn't qualify for that discount because that was only for business owners for the base models. I showed the dealer the website, where the exclusion to business owners is never called out nor is there fine print describing any exclusion conditions to the Hawk Discount. Furthermore, I pointed out that the Hawk Discount was being offered online to all models of the 2020 Explorer, not just the base model. At this point the dealer had nothing to say to contest those facts other than saying that I didn't qualify. I expressed my disappointment to the dealer in regards to the false advertisement which ultimately lured me into their agency to look at the vehicle. I told them that I would be fair and give them until the following morning to correct their misleading pricing on their website before I wrote my reviews and reported this to the corresponding consumer protection agencies such as the BBB, FTC, and TINA. Unfortunately, they opted not to make any corrections as of today. The screenshots that I took will show this. Upon reading some of the reviews, this unethical advertising does not surprise me. Hawk's response to negative reviews has become repetitively predictable and lethargically expressive of a lack of concern for the consumer's claim. They will respond to the tune of "We're sorry this happened, please call us to discuss further." They almost seem to copy and paste their responses to negative reviews. Then what? They do nothing about the root cause of the claim. Buyer beware. Before you even look at a vehicle at Hawk, look at the internet price on their website and ask if they will honor their advertised price and discounts. Challenge them as to why not, otherwise they will continue to use this unethical method to lure potential customers onto their lot. Furthermore, do your research on your trade-in. Know the worth of your vehicle. Use the several resources such as KBB and Edmunds.com. Have no doubt, they will lowball you beyond the typical Chicagoland dealer. Hawk Ford does not like dealing with smart and prepared buyers. Their target market is uninformed and easily manipulated. Do your research before you walk onto their lot, because they will do everything to gain an unfair advantage over you. If at all possible, avoid this dealership, as their total disregard for my fair warning did not motivate them to correct their false offers of non-existent discounts. More

Dan, the finance man assisted me in selecting much needed protection in the event of unforeseen occurrences. After feeling that overwhelming sense of "buyers' remorse", l am grateful that l returned to Hawk Ford for my replacement car. I trust this dealership because of my prior experience with them. Awesome Customer Service! Manager Don really helped my situation. I was almost in tears. There must have been a miscommunication when I had scheduled an appointment over the Manager Don really helped my situation. I was almost in tears. There must have been a miscommunication when I had scheduled an appointment over the phone. I went in for a recall and for detailing. Made the appointment for a Thursday but the guy wasn’t there for detailing. So I had to return another day and I couldn’t get a loaner after I was told that I was on the list and I would get one. It took me two months to take in my SUV for service due to my busy schedule of having a newborn. I really couldn’t return the next day so Don helped me with a rental because they were out of loaners. He kept my SUV so the detailing can be done the next day. It was such a relief to me. He is a great manager! He understood everything I was going through and solved the problem without hesitating. Thanks Don! I really appreciate you! More

Price overcharge and service When I asked to get the oil change deluxe for $49.95 And I got home I was charged $52.00 plus tax and also I had to show the service writer that it co When I asked to get the oil change deluxe for $49.95 And I got home I was charged $52.00 plus tax and also I had to show the service writer that it come with up to 6 quarts of oil and the service writer wanted to charge me for a extra quart until I showed her it and then the mechanic said that next time I would need a new air filter but will blow it out instead and also the levels were not check and was not offered a free car wash but had to request. I also noticed the mechanic did not torqued the lug nuts when the tires were rotated. Also my wife and I belong to the Ford Pass Reward and not once I was asked so we can earn points from 2 oil changes. More
