My vehicle search started on a whim (not really because my car was 9 years old and had 93K miles on it plus 8 months ago I need to replace the axle) But the way I went about it on the internet was sort my car was 9 years old and had 93K miles on it plus 8 months ago I need to replace the axle) But the way I went about it on the internet was sort of happenstance. I just found world Subaru in Tinton Falls and decided to contact the internet sales team and see if they had any cars available. The first one Amanda Tompkins sent me was white and I didn’t want white. I e-mailed her back and she came back and emailed me with a link for the exact Subaru I wanted in blue that was in transit to them. She suggested due the current vehicle market it would be in my best interest to make an appointment to go over my options and reserve the vehicle ahead of its arrival. This was may 5th. The vehicle was due on May 17th. So I made an appointment for the following day at 5:00. When I arrived I was seen by Dennis McWeeney. He was very nice & personable. He answered all of my questions and was very easy to talk to (I always hated the car buying experience). He made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I threw at him. He also looked at my trade in car and was able to quote me the trade in value that same day. The whole process was so simple. He took a 500.00 payment on my credit card to reserve that car. He said that as soon as the car was at the dealership he would call me. The estimated time of arrival was May 17th. On May 13, I emailed Dennis to make sure the car was on its way and would arrive by May 17th. Dennis promptly emailed me the next day giving me the heads up that due to the chip shortage that the delivery date has been pushed back until May 28th but could be sooner. He told me that he gets notified 2 day before it’s arrival and will reach out to me at the time. On May 21, I got a voice mail from Dennis that my car was here. I made came in the following day. The whole process was very easy and I wasn’t anxious at all. Dennis went over everything. I inquired about the remote start & he was able to explain everything and I picked the 7 year STARLINK Safety Plus as well as the Security Plus for 399.74 not bad for all the added security features and I never had a remote start before. Dennis was really well versed with the program. I then was introduced to Nicole Sciamarelli, who brought me to my car to show my how it works (I am saying that because my car was a 2013 old school car meaning I used an actual key to drive it & it didn’t even have a back up camera). Even though I am technologically savvy the no key thing really threw me. LOL. Nicole was very understanding and she was able to show me how to operate it without a key. She also showed me how to lock the door and unlock. I think it’s really cool that it is done by the drivers side handle. She also helped me link up my Iphone 10 with the new car. She was very professional and nice. After the tutorial was through I saw the finance guy, Josh Cavalieri. The whole process was very quick and easy. He was very nice and he went over everything. He went into detail about the extended warranties. He answered all of my questions. More
