I love this dealer. IF they cannot get the work done in your time, they give you a loaner and deliver your car to your home when it is ready IF they cannot get the work done in your time, they give you a loaner and deliver your car to your home when it is ready More

Mechanics at Plaza Lincoln do a great job - but here’s the problem - if a customer states they will wait for a car that was expected (I was told by phone when I made the appointment) to take 1.5 hours, a the problem - if a customer states they will wait for a car that was expected (I was told by phone when I made the appointment) to take 1.5 hours, and upon examination, the car will, in fact, need the update replacement and will take several hours, you MUST inform the waiting customer immediately so he/she can make a choice to find a ride home. I waited 4 hours and 15 minutes last week for a recall that I was told would take 1.5 hours. That is simply too long to sit with very little update. There should be a wait time limit, or at least let the customer know the job will need considerably more time. I would have called someone to come pick me up..I finally got an update at about 3 hours that it was almost done. But, it was another hour and 15 for a grand total of 4 hours and 15 minutes. I completely understand that sometimes it’s hard to predict, but I would have greatly appreciated knowing the car was examined and it was determined that the car was actually needing the update repair and the extra time would be necessary. I knew nothing and just sat and waited. The potential problem began with the initial appointment call when I was told 1.5 hours - if I’d only been told “but it might be up to 5 hours”. I would not have chosen to wait. I think better communication with the customer would solve the issue. Thank you for the opportunity to express my concern. More
