Over the past year, I have experienced several instances in which the invoice presented to me for services performed contained errors (always in Circle Subaru's favor). Most recently, I received a promot in which the invoice presented to me for services performed contained errors (always in Circle Subaru's favor). Most recently, I received a promotional coupon from Circle Subaru for an oil change and tire rotation for $89.95. When I brought my car in for service, the estimate that I was given for this work was significantly higher. After speaking with the service representative, I discovered that the invoicing system does not honor the promotional coupon and that an additional shop charge was added. The coupon does not state that shop charges are additive (a violation of Truth-In-Advertising laws). On another occasion, I purchased two new tires and was presented with an invoice for four tires. I reached out to the GM. He did not offer an apology. Instead, he told me that I should have engaged a manager to correct their errors. This is not my definition of "exceptional customer service." I recommend that you only use Circle Subaru's service department if you want the aggravation of inspecting their invoices and correcting their billing errors on every visit. More
