That experience was the best car buying experience I've ever had, primarily because of the personal attention given to me by David Lopez. Fast forward a year later and the Countryman has been great and we had been contemplating purchasing another Mini come summer. While viewing the online inventory I noticed a Mini NEXT Certified Pre-Owned Clubman that seemed to be something we might be interested in. So I e-mailed David and we arranged for a visit and test-drive. David was as accommodating and gracious as ever and he allowed us to test drive that vehicle plus a newer 4-dr Hardtop. We hemmed and hawed for a bit, but recognizing a great deal when we saw one, decided to take the plunge to get our 2nd Mini. We've had it for just under a week and my wife loves it! David is great to work with, is friendly, thoughtful, has a no-pressure way with sales, and shows great attention to detail. I understand now why Mini refers to their sales personnel as "Motoring Advisors" - David's job extends beyond the actual sale - he has become my point person at the dealership and I look forward to updating him about how things are going with my Mini-s. Beyond my expectations I initially chose Herb Chambers because of the inventory of new vehicles; it seemed much more extensive than a dealer closer to my home. I didn't imagine purchasing a used vehicle, but it was too good a deal to pass up. Now on to why I will return to Herb Chambers: Every person I encountered at Herb Chambers MINI was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and generous. I was impressed with all of the staff: receptionist, managers, sales staff, counter help, etc. From the warm greeting at reception and viewing cars in the showroom, to test driving, signing on the dotted line and picking up my new MINI, I experienced a relaxed atmosphere with a great balance of attentiveness and space. I was given tons of options and the freedom to explore them all at my leisure, as in-depth as I desired. While I was waiting (for inspection, for example) other sales persons were receptive to questions and conversation. and were quite helpful sharing insights, nuggets of MINI info. etc. Pricing was good, as checked on TrueCar, and that was before the rebate and extras. I felt very taken care of at Herb Chambers MINI and though this is my first MINI, it is definitely not my last! More
