Just bought a 2023 Mercedes AMG GT 53 from them a few weeks back. During the test drive I noticed squeaking brake noise. I asked to have it looked into. I was told that they did and the brakes are fine, it most likely is just from being wet after the recent wash. I accepted that answer as the car only had 15k miles on it. My mistake for trusting them. I just brought it into Mercedes and found out the brake pads have less than 20% left on them. That is another $1,200 out of pocket. To a lesser extent, I was also irritated that they didn’t fill up the gas tank upon purchase. It only had 1/4 tank. UPDATE: I’m updating my original review to reflect what has occurred since posting it. After raising my concern about the brake condition at the time of purchase, the dealership did initially engage. They requested my repair invoice and even contacted my mechanic directly to better understand the cause of the squeaking and the need for brake pad replacement. I respect that level of due diligence and appreciated the effort to look into the situation. Following that, I was asked what it would take to resolve the matter in a way that would warrant updating my review to 5 stars. I provided a reasonable and straightforward response based on the circumstances. Unfortunately, after that point, communication stopped entirely. My response was sent to the Sales Manager, Service Manager, and General Manager. I followed up again a few days later with all parties included and did not receive any reply. At this stage, the issue is no longer just about the brake repair—it’s about the lack of follow-through and communication after the dealership had fully reviewed the situation and asked for a resolution. I remain open to updating this review, but meaningful follow-through—not initial outreach—will ultimately determine the final rating.
