I want to give a big shout out and say a huge THANK YOU to three of the Pete Moore Imports employees who helped alleviate a horrible situation and turn it into a positive one. Mark Torelli, Mike Kern, to three of the Pete Moore Imports employees who helped alleviate a horrible situation and turn it into a positive one. Mark Torelli, Mike Kern, and Dan Freeman. Mike was instrumental in help making this possible. He and I were in communication for a few months about an on-going situation with a car I had purchased on a used car lot and the car was in less than great condition unknowingly when sold to me. Mike helped me setup my my appointment to get the turbo assembly replaced, not even a month after buying this car. I decided to have VW do the repairs since it was a VW Golf and wanted it done right. Mike made sure the technicians and service advisors kept me up to date and they provided accurate quotes that didn't change when I arrived to pay and pick up my vehicle. The cost to replace the turbo was $4k and they replaced it and the car was driving great. However, not long after the previous repair, I noticed water leaking in from the sunroof. I took it back to VW for more investigation, which lead them to finding mold and water damage on the sunroof frame. Their quote to repair and replace these parts was $5600. So if you add up the two repairs, that would be about $10k and I only paid about $14k for the car not long before. I asked Mike if there was any options I had or if they could help in anyway by buying the car from me or helping me get into another car. Not even a few days later, Mike had a Salesman named Mark Torelli reach out to me and a day after that I setup a meeting with Mark. Mark was the best car salesman I've ever had in my entire life and he was very empathetic to my situation. He and the rest of his team took it upon themselves to help me out in ANYWAY possible. Mark was very thorough and organized in his work and explained everything very clearly to make sure I understood everything. He walked me through all the details about the car, making sure to point out key details that were not pointed out to me with the previous car. Mark was able to work together with Dan Freeman and the rest of his team to help get me into a 2018 VW Golf that is certified and comes with a warranty and they took mine in as a trade-in. They gave me significantly higher value on the trade than expected or than they were expected to, but doing this has made them a customer for life. My entire experience with Pete Moore Imports since my first service visit to my recent purchase of my 2018 VW Golf has only been extremely positive. I told my girlfriend about my experience with them and she said that when she's ready for a new car, she wants to buy a car here based on the experience I have had. If you are in the market for a new car, definitely go to Pete Moore Imports and ask for Mark Torelli, Mike Kern, and Dan Freeman. All three of these gentlemen are top notch and made my experience memorable and enjoyable. There aren't many words I can use to describe how appreciative I am of them for helping me get out of a nightmare of a situation with my previous car.
