There is really not much to help with at this point. There were a series of events that totaled a disappointing buying experience. The salesperson had less than basic knowledge--or perhaps a sales technique of playing absolutely as dumb as possible?--of how to navigate your website (I had to teach them how to use the filter feature). In hindsight, this was probably the biggest warning sign and I should have just left. During the trade-in negotiation, the initial offer was quite low (no surprise...); when I countered, the salesperson gave me all the reasons why the business manager(?) won't go for my counter. He reluctantly went back to get a new number. I told him I was firm at a new counteroffer number. When the salesperson came back, he said "I have never seen the business manager go up $2500 from his original trade-in number". Come on, such a BS line and further solidified that this was a stereotypical used car lot. Every time I have bought a vehicle, the salesperson at least makes an effort to be happy about the transaction. The salesperson seemed to have better things to do. The trade-in vehicle was not paid off after nearly a month of not owning it; as such, the old vehicle bank auto-paid the regular amount and wouldn't reverse the charges or reimburse. I had to pay my bank to stop payment. The car battery was junk and had to be replaced two weeks after buying the car. These are the reasons, in part, why it was a two-star experience.
