Costco Auto Program referred me to DCH Montclair Acura. A few minutes after I completed their request for a dealer I got a call from Colleen Amirr. I had been given 3 contact names and was thinking of callin few minutes after I completed their request for a dealer I got a call from Colleen Amirr. I had been given 3 contact names and was thinking of calling her since she was the only female on the list. Right away her friendly helpful manner put me at ease and made me eager to come in. She arranged an appointment and followed up later in the week to confirm. When I arrived she introduced me to Don Nardone, my salesperson. Don sat down with me to discuss what I was looking for and we decided to test drive the MDX and RDX. Pulling out of the lot I ran over a small curb and Don immediately put me at ease. We drove on various roadways and I in no way felt rushed to get the car back. We went out in the second car ( without hitting the curb) in a similar fashion. We returned to the dealership and all of my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction and I was given more details on the car that I was leaning toward and information on what I could expect from the service department. I was sent out to lunch as we waited for the business manager and to make my final decision. When I returned I completed paperwork with Don and Ben Klein. All during this process things were explained without rushing me or pressuring me. They made arrangements to close out my lease with another company, Don spoke with my insurance company to arrange coverage as my agent is not open on Saturdays. I returned to pick up my car a little later. I left, a happy customer, with the car I wanted, complete coverage of everything for $40 more than what my old lease cost. Benjamin Klein & his team were EXCELLENT. This is the way car buying should be in the 21st century. Breakdown of the process: 1. I conducted on-line research of what I wanted 2. Then put in an inquiry into 4 dealers that had what I wanted 4. Colleen (Ben’s Internet person got back to me immediately). She was kind, courteous and professional. 5. I told her what I wanted. She confirmed it was in inventory. Then put me in contact with Ben Klein the Sales Manager 6. Ben and I had a productive no nonsense conversation. He didn’t try to upsell, fast take me or anything. 7. We came to a mutually agreed upon price. 8. He asked for information to get the vehicle ready and get a head start on the paperwork 9. We went into the showroom the next day at noon to pick up the car, trade in our old vehicle and process paperwork. 10. Two hours later we are driving off in our brand new MDX. Ben and his team truly understand that time = money. They will not waste your time/money. I live in Westchester County NY and have 2 Acura dealers each ten mins from my house. I drove 1 hour (each way to this dealer) and would do it again in a heartbeat. I received internet quote that was so good that I didn't have to negotiate further. Dealer gave me enough time to think on the price quoted and has extended the quote beyond number of days initially offered have to negotiate further. My experience at DCH was incredible. From the moment Colleen answered the phone and throughout the entire sales process everybody was professional and more importantly upfront. I was not made to feel uncomfortable in a process that often is anything but comfortable. I talked to a number of dealers before DCH and called Colleen at 4pm in the afternoon. I arrived at the dealer that night at 8:15pm and left with my car at 9:15pm. Workers were willing to stay late and work hard to get the deal done that night knowing that i have limited time in my schedule to get back to the dealer. This dealership is unethical, immoral, and unprofessional. They pulled a bait and switch on us! They took a deposit over the phone after agreeing to a price, we spent over 5 hours there afte unprofessional. They pulled a bait and switch on us! They took a deposit over the phone after agreeing to a price, we spent over 5 hours there after we uncovered some additional fees having to do with taxes which we agreed to and then after we sat down to sign contracts their system couldn’t process our contracts. So they said that they would work on correcting the issue and for us to come back the next day. They did not proactively call us to tell us what was going on until two days after at which point the sales person told us to come in to sign contracts under the agreed to terms. Then he called a few hours later and told us that they would not honor our agreed to price and raised it. I wish someone would have told me that I was dealing with people that don’t care about their customers and lie to them right through their teeth. More

I wish to commend Mark, Mr. Lupo, Colleen and Aida on an outstanding job last week in the delivery of our new acura tsx. Mark had the paperwork ready for us when we arrived, the entire smooth process took less than 45 mins. It was the most stress-free new car transaction we've had in all our lifetime. They gave us a quote in writing, and stuck to it. They also gave us a credit for unused miles from our previous acura lease turn-in. We only wish all other dealerships could be like DCH Montclair Acura, as they can serve as a role model for efficiency and the best way to conduct a new car sale, as they avoid the hard sell tactics other dealers have. Again, our hats are off to this dealership, they earned our business and will do so in the future. I purchased my first brand new vehicle with his help and don't have an ounce of buyer's remorse afterwards. The staff there was great I initially dealt with Collen over the phone who was very patient and plesant to speak with. She even worked on getting me a lower price without me requesting. She set up a test driving date and time and once I Came in Ryan let me enjoy myself without the pressure of having to buy anything once in his office the negotiations went smoothly and he made sure to discuss each document I was to sign and made sure I understood. He was patient and didn't once make me feel rushed so Thank you again Ryan and Collen, my next new car will definitely be with DCH Acura. More
