Pleasant experience, found a disappointing surprise First of all I cannot say enough nice things about the staff, Chris Stewart was very pleasant and respectful. He was not pushy and he respected mine and my husband's privacy so we could talk things over. We drove from Asheville, NC with our beagle and Chris and the other staff members were so warm and accommodating. After we made the car deal Chris even showed us pictures of his two new puppies! After bringing the car home I took it to the car wash and while vacuuming, I looked into the seat crevices of the back seats and found French fries, numerous melted suckers, gum melted to the seat belt connection, children's toys, cereal, candy still in it's wrapper, puzzle pieces and broken pens. I even have a picture highlighting only a fraction of the amount of trash I found. I spent forty minutes vacuuming, because I kept reaching in and finding more and it still needs more cleaning to remove the stickiness. My husband and I don't have children nor have any ridden in our car to date. Needless to say it was an extremely disappointing find, especially since we were told it was detailed earlier that day. We also discovered the right side power mirror doesn't work along with the turn signal on that mirror. It was a toyota certified vehicle so we were led to believe those things are checked out beforehand. All in all we did enjoy our experience as everyone was so friendly and the process was painless, but we are extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of our "gently used, toyota certified" car. More
