Once I found the dealer that had the car I'd chosen which happened to be Tom I've looked at purchasing the Chevrolet Impala LTZ 2016 for a few weeks. Once I found the dealer that had the car I'd chosen which happened to be Tom Gill Chevrolet, I headed over across the river. I did not know what to expect because I hadn't purchased a car in 9 years. Chris Roderick Our whole life itinerary was hugely upset when my daughter's car was totaled by a preoccupied driver. We were determined to buy a car and planned out Our whole life itinerary was hugely upset when my daughter's car was totaled by a preoccupied driver. We were determined to buy a car and planned out what we wanted and by when. Time was short. We visited several dealerships looking at specifically targeted cars. The last before going to Tom Gill tried the "I'm on your side, will look out for you, will go to bat for you, high point of sale pressure" routine. An insult to my intelligence. Then we met Chris Roderick. No pressure, but a very good listener. The initial car we intended to see was larger than we desired and too costly for our purse. Taking the facts of what we shared already, Chris offered an alternative. Not a bad choice, but it was a 2010 with about 140k miles. The miles were a bit too high plus we did not have experience with a Mazda. As we were about to leave he pointed out a row of cars we had not walked through and drew our attention to an Infinity FX35 and stated the price of the car had just been discounted. Still a stretch on price for us and we left. Chris e-mailed me a day or two later to check-in. At first I said, not interested, questioning the replacement cost of 20" tires and suspect on how might handle in inclement weather. I gave permission to give my contact info to the previous owner. Chris followed up nicely. Was satisfied with that owner's info. The tires were 18" and all-season. Still not sold on the price part, my wife urged me to take a test drive to check it out once more. I did. Convinced. All the while Chris was right there - LISTENING, not badgering nor pushy. He was very knowledgeable, and what pieces of info he did not know, he was quick to get it for me. Chris is a genuine type of guy. He even passed my son's fairly intuitive smell test which is tough to do! Bottom line , I would buy from Chris again should the need arise. More
