While vacationing in Long Island, the warning light went on in our equinox rental car. Being concerned, we googled "Chevrolet dealer" and were referred to Buzz Chew Chevrolet. After arriving at the dealers on in our equinox rental car. Being concerned, we googled "Chevrolet dealer" and were referred to Buzz Chew Chevrolet. After arriving at the dealership, I exited the vehicle and while on my way to the front door, noticed a gentleman approaching me wearing a blue Buzz Chew golf shirt and asked if he worked in the service dept.? he said "no, but how may I help you, my name is "Brian", after I explained our dilemma, he said that although the service department was backed up with work, he'd see what he could do. Within 10 minutes a young man approached our vehicle carrying what looked somewhat like a laptop computer and said "Brian" had sent him to test the car and his name was Nick, he then spent ten to fifteen minutes testing and checking under the hood before he stated that the problem was simply being caused by a loose electronic line and he had tightened it. Nick then started the car and showed us that the engine light was no longer on. I thanked him and handed him a token of appreciation which he reluctantly accepted. I then asked if he needed me to sign a work order and he responded that "Brian" was the owner of the dealership and had told him that no work order was necessary as this was a goodwill gesture on the dealerships part. Wow! I was shocked and surprised to say the least, as in today's business world, this type of service and sincerity is extremely rare. Upon arriving home in California I sent Bryon an email expressing our appreciation for his kindness and service and stated that I would very much be surprised if his dealership was not among the top auto dealers in the state or even the country for that matter! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Purchased Silverado and XT6 earlier in the year. Sales process couldn't have been easier, more efficient, or friendlier than I ever experienced.
