Brian made it happen I had wanted a Subaru for a long time. I really didn't think it would happen because of my credit and trade-in. I sent Brian an email, he called me and within a week, I had my brand new Subaru Forrester! Brian is wonderful to work with and I would recommend him and Landers McCarty to anyone!!! Visual aids, interactive displays along with the mechanical models that help explain not only the cars attributes but every accessory that’s available for your new Subaru. I drove from Franklin,TN to sign papers after purchasing the car online and I was working with two other local dealers before I found these guys..... More

Sales staff is amazing! But finance outside dealership I worked directly with Brandon Evans who was beyond amazing. I had been involved in a serious car accident that resulted in totally my vehicle. We contacted Brandon Evans who sent us pictures of various vehicles that met our needs. Then rather than me having to come to the dealership, he brought the vehicle to us in Decatur to look at . He told us about the car and never tried at any time to hard sell us. We were so impressed with his professionalism and willingness to help us. We discussed a price and he worked with Brian Klie to get the vehicle at the price we wanted. Big Thank You to Brandon and Brian! After having such a great experience with them, we were unprepared for the experience we had with Bill Ladd in finance. We were very specific about the bank we wanted to work with but despite having a high credit score this bank offered us an 8.25% interest rate. We questioned this but he brushed it off and found a lower rate at 3.99% and I signed the paperwork which was Totally my mistake. After leaving dealership, we went to our original bank and there had been a problem and we really qualified for a 1.99%. The bank called Mr. Ladd and he said he would not run the original loan through to allow for financing with our bank. While at the bank the next day, Mr. Ladd sent paperwork that did not add up to the correct amount. When the loan officer called him to get additional information and to tell him that I had decided to go their extended warranty and their gap insurance, he went off on the phone to this young woman and told her that they had a signed contract and he would not void it and that I could refinance with them when the loan went thru. I spoke to him on the phone and it became very heated. I called the dealership and spoke to Josh Gregory who said he was aware of the situation, that he would change the loan to exactly what we wanted. He sent the information to the bank, I got the loan and saved almost $3000.00 by financing with my bank. I have never been treated so badly by someone in my life. Bill Ladd should be fired in my opinion. If you go to this dealership.....work with Brandon Evans (great), Brian Klie or Josh Gregory because they understand great service and are willing to go beyond expectations. But, avoid Bill Ladd at all costs. He is rude, offensive, and a liar. More

After we found an issue during a personal inspection of the car, Al (our salesman) helped us troubleshoot the problem and came in twice when he wasn't scheduled to work to show us the car and eventually complete the sale. Overall, a very good car buying experience. More

I am blessed I was on my way to purchase a different car, from a different dealership, and decided that I just wanted to look at the Suburu Outback before I paid. I was on my way to purchase a different car, from a different dealership, and decided that I just wanted to look at the Suburu Outback before I paid. My mom and I looked up the local Suburu dealership, and headed out for a cursory overview. When we parked, Adrian Koby came out and greeted us, and was SO positive, even when I was snippy and fearful. I told him I was not here to buy a car, but wanted to look at an Outback, so he let me get my yacking out. Then, he revealed his genuine caring and knowledge. He asked me how I used my car, and what I really wanted (red, hot butt, and room for my dogs' crate). As he talked to me, I found myself sharing my difficult situation, both emotionally and financially, and he asked if he could show me other options that might work better for me. He spent time explaining what made Suburu unique, and what that might mean for me. We looked at several cars, and I found that the Forester really was better for my situation, and I agreed to a drive. Adrian When we got back, we asked for their "out the door" pricing, That is when we met Brian. He explained everything so clearly, that I felt completely at ease, and my every question was answered with honesty and transparency. I am a recently widowed woman, have a new job requiring travel, and need a reliable car with aftercare service, so he also explained the options for an extended warranty. Everything was detailed, and provided in writing. I felt safe and at ease with these two men, and they really changed my view of purchasing a vehicle. I drove my new Forester home that afternoon, confident that I had begun a new relationship with an honest and trustworthy team to take care of my transportation needs. More

A Great Experience My Husband and I visited the Subaru dealership wanting to drive a Crosstrek. We were greeted by Sarah Mcclellan and she offered to show us around. S My Husband and I visited the Subaru dealership wanting to drive a Crosstrek. We were greeted by Sarah Mcclellan and she offered to show us around. She was so friendly and easy to work with. She let us drive the Crosstrek and then after spending a little time with us and hearing what we were looking for in a car, recommended that we also try driving a Forrester. This ended up being the best advice because in the end we decided to buy a Forrester. We loved it! Best of all, there was no pressure to buy. Sarah spent a long time with us, in the evening and even after hours, to let us look and poke around in several cars. She didn't seem hurried or bothered by our questions... and never once was there mention of 'let me get my sales manager' or 'what would it take to get you in a car today.' Honestly, my husband had long ago come to hate car dealerships for this very reason. But we were allowed to test drive what we wanted to and then were asked only for some contact information and were very politely allowed to leave without any kind of high pressure sales pitch. As we walked out, my husband said, "I could buy a car here." That's a HUGE compliment coming from him! I really do believe our experience that night, along with the quality and value of the Forrester, led us to come back and buy our new 2015 Forrester. The whole car-buying experience was wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about Sarah. She sent me a very nice email follow-up after our first visit and then bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with our purchasing experience... even surprising my husband with a Subaru license plate cover that he saw after the fact and really wanted for the car. Little touches like that make you feel like you are really being listened to and that people care. Also, I really appreciated the finance manager's attitude as we turned down extended warranties - again, no pressure applied to take those and make us feel bad if we didn't. It was all very professional and easy. It was nice to be taken out to see the service department and meet the employees there. Sarah also showed us all we needed to know about our new car. All in all, I would highly recommend this dealership as an excellent place to buy a new car. And I LOVE my new Subaru Forrester!! More

2014 Subaru Outback Purchase Our experience in buying the 2014 Outback from Landers McLarty Subaru could not have been better. The professionalism that Deonte, Al , Bill and Brian showed us through out the process stood in stark contrast to what we had experienced at another dealership. A good portion of the up front work was done by the internet and e mail, as we are two hours away from the dealership. When we arrived everything was ready for us and Deonte, Al and Bill made sure we were comfortable with the car and the process. There were no surprises and nothing high key about any of it. I would not hesitate to recommend the dealership and the employees to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru. Tom Fisher More

In December 2013, I ordered & bought a new Subaru Forester after shopping around Huntsville, Nashville & Birmingham. The folks at all four dealerships were extremely helpful & attentive, but I finall Forester after shopping around Huntsville, Nashville & Birmingham. The folks at all four dealerships were extremely helpful & attentive, but I finally chose Landers-McLarty in Huntsville. Mostly because, while the price between the 2 final places I was deciding between was pretty close, I felt like the folks in Huntsville would be the easiest to deal with long-term. And I plan to have this car a long time. I also like the fact they were NOT pushy, at all. They were available when I needed them, but did not make a nuisance of themselves. Also, when (after 4 months of shopping & test-drives & research) I was ready to buy, the folks were able to get the options I wanted installed in the vehilce I wanted very quickly & it was in the dealership in just over a month of ordering it. Very nice. While (thankfully) I haven't had the need for any major service yet, the service staff were quite efficient in getting the couple of little things I needed adjusted in the car upon delivery. (Installing the wind-scoop on the sun-roof & obtaining the front-tag holder plate.) Also nice! More
