We wanted to replace our Camry with a bigger car because we are expecting our second child soon. We (more the husband) had been looking at trucks on and off for about two years. The day before we came to the Wilsonville Toyota Dealership, we had been to a different Toyota dealership further south off off for about two years. The day before we came to the Wilsonville Toyota Dealership, we had been to a different Toyota dealership further south off of I-5. The other dealership had a truck that was in our price range (V4, RWD, low miles), but the tactics they used, the noise the truck made (mechanical problem most likely) when going up and down hills/accelerating in general, being told they "couldn't recreate the noise" and "not to worry about it", and how they undervalued our trade-in and time, caused us to just walk away. On a whim, we decided that one of us would go up to Wilsonville Toyota just to see what would be in our price range and if anything peeked our interest. The first difference was the manager, Josh, came over and introduced himself. He talked about how they run things differently in sales department at Wilsonville, when compared to other local dealerships, and set us up with Azhar Khan, our first and only point of contact needed. Azhar/Josh found us a used 2019 Toyota Tacoma with very low miles (less than 16,000 miles), SR5, V6, and a 6-foot-bed; 6-foot-bed and the color/extras, per our understanding, made this truck a previous special order. While this is/was the dream truck, the thinking was that this Tacoma would be out of our price range. However, Azhar stated it was "his job to work for us to get the deal we needed" and allowed the truck to be with us for the whole day until they closed. Azhar doing this action not only allowed both persons to experience the truck and discuss if this was something we wanted to do, but also alleviated the sales pressure that so many other dealerships use. We, literally, drove the truck through some hills, on the highway and interstate, and even ate dinner in the truck. The ability to decide and discuss if this was something we really wanted without a sales person present or the pressure from the dealership in general, allowed for us to buy this truck strictly because WE wanted to. Once we both came back in the evening, Azhar had a better trade-in deal and a better interest rate for the loan amount than we thought possible; the loan was even through a really good local credit union. We were blown away that the truck of our dreams was so possible. We bought the truck that night and have been on cloud 9 ever since. We are recommending this place and Azhar to everyone we know that could be looking at purchasing a new vehicle in the future. More
