I came in for a new starter. Cost me $558.00 labor. A starter like mine should only take an hour or less. I've done it myself back when I was physically able. So I find out that Cost me $558.00 labor. A starter like mine should only take an hour or less. I've done it myself back when I was physically able. So I find out that the labor charge included a diagnostic fee of $180.00 which I was already aware of. That's the reason I told Ashley at check-in that I had already checked both batteries, the main fuse for the starter and the voltage going into the starter selonid. All checked out fine and the starter was all I needed. The diagnostic was not necessary. I was surprised that a good mechanic would take twice as long as me to do a simple starter. I hope Jimmy, the owner, gets to see this and maybe review the service policies to make the experience at his dealership a little more pleasant. David Barfield More
