Within a day of purchasing my vehicle it had issues. Brought it to the local dealer near me to have it inspected turns out the rear shocks were blown. The rear differential coupler was bad, headlight out, and the internal screen needed to be replaced. How can you sell a vehicle to someone with all of these issues after stating that it was inspected. Corwin should be ashamed of themselves as well as manager Andrew Springer for not doing anything to help me with the situation. I am now out thousands of dollars on rental car and repairs More

The first was being overcharged for the batteries on our 2017 F-350 Lariat which after running that issue up the flag pull I was refunded $223. The second was selling us a 2021 Explorer that had multiple safety issues which they would NOT fix unless we paid $100 deductible even though we had the extended warranty that covered everything bumper to bumper( then ended up taking the Explorer back and without checking it we watched them slap a sticker on the window and online for sale!) The third time was on our Subaru, which they gave us for the Explorer. They have been the only place we have taken it for scheduled maintenance in 1.5 years, 12,000 miles. Supposedly they ran a 172 point inspection over it before we took possession, then another 172 point inspection again a year later but this time they opened up the rear differential and transmission and stated the fluid needs to be changed for $900 and the battery needed to be replaced for $200. Subaru service manual states that the transmission/diff fluid is recommended at 30,000 miles with ONLY with Genuine Subaru CVT fluid only -- either Subaru NS-2 or the newer Subaru CVT Fluid (NS-3) depending on the model year. Never use generic ATF, universal CVT fluid, or any aftermarket substitute. The Lineartronic CVT's steel chain and pulley system requires a specific fluid formulation that generic products do not reliably provide. The battery should have been load tested before we took delivery of the vehicle, which it was not, and again at the last oil change, which it was not because we keep ALL of the maintenance documentation(comes with pictures and video). They were given the opportunity to right this wrong and replace what they recommended or put us into another vehicle free of charge(Subaru of America, in writing, will give us $18,700 for our Ascent, Corwin Ford Reno, $13,400. This dealership has a repeat reputation, not from just us but many others, of habitual fraud. Customer beware! More

I worked with Hunter, who was patient with me througho I was a little apprehensive going into it, but I’m really glad I ended up buying from Corwin. I worked with Hunter, who was patient with me throughout the process and helped me find a 2019 F-150 that had everything I was looking for. His manager, Andrew, also came over and introduced himself, which I appreciated. There were a few very minor issues with the truck, and Hunter told me they would take care of them. I didn’t get anything in writing; I just took his word for it. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but Hunter followed through on everything they said they would do, and then some. They really went above and beyond, fixed the issues, and clearly care about their customers and their reputation. It was a much better experience than I was expecting, and I would buy from them again. More

Overall very good experience in buying a new truck from Corwin Ford of Reno! They were able to source a particular model that I was in search of. This dealership is under new ownership, and this is a good thing. The facility itself could use a facelift and some upgrades, hopefully that is in the works, it is a good location.
