I purchased a ’19 MDX A-Spec from Westchester in 2021. Aleks was awesome! He provided me with lots of info and was not pushing me to commit if I didn’t want to. I questioned the CarFax as it noted “minor Aleks was awesome! He provided me with lots of info and was not pushing me to commit if I didn’t want to. I questioned the CarFax as it noted “minor damage”. Aleks assured me it was body cosmetic. So, I let it go and signed the LOAN. Fast forward, 18 months…. The day after Christmas the car lite up like a Christmas tree and stalled in the middle of the road! Took a few tries and finally it started but now gear won’t shift. Called Westchester and was advised I can go to any Acura dealer since the car is still under warranty ( I am from CT). So, I took it into Devon Acura in Norwalk, I don’t know if it was the worst mistake or an eye opener; 3 weeks later and $1600 out of pocket, because Devon of Acura advised me the car had previously been in an accident and had collision repair work done on the car which was not noted to Carfax the manufacturer warranty voids! 2 HUGE legit Acura Dealers on he says, she says… I then went to Westchester Acura and advise them of the issue (Devon of Acura did not repair the car as it stall again on the highway not even 24 hours after I took it off the lot) and was told I should have just had the car tolled to them to repair. Instead, I worked with Aleks and Andre, to buy me out of the loan so I traded the car for a 2020 CPO MDX Aspec. I hope this was the better solution! Aleks, Andre and Diane were easy to work with and made me feel competent with my 2nd purchase. Word of advice – have your car service where you purchase! Don’t let other dealers convince you they are all the same when they are NOT. More
