This was my first time buying a new car and I was nervous about what I would find. After a few minutes of talking with Albert Rodriguez, I felt so warmly welcomed that I relaxed easily. Albert was a weal about what I would find. After a few minutes of talking with Albert Rodriguez, I felt so warmly welcomed that I relaxed easily. Albert was a wealth of information about the cars I wanted to see, very easy to talk to and ask questions to, patient and so excited to help ensure I was having a great experience and he made sure I got to know everything I needed to in order to make the best decisions for myself. He also made me feel zero pressure during the whole process, which I'm very grateful for! After a few excellent test drives that allowed me to see many aspects of the cars, I asked if he would hold the 2020 HR-V EX 2FWD I was looking at for 48 hours while I decided what I wanted to do. He and Julia Quinn, the general sales manager, arranged that I could "rent out" the car I was thinking about for a couple of hours so I could spend time with it completely pressure free. I have never heard of such a kind, considerate act being done in car sales and I was only too happy to accept the generous offer. Once I returned it back to the lot, Albert assured me he would keep it held for 48 hrs as I had asked earlier and we agreed on a follow up phone call in the afternoon the next day. I went home, did some research, evaluated my financial situation and decided rather quickly that this was the car for me. I called Albert the next morning to meet and see what kind of deal could be worked out. The whole transaction, both Albert and Julia did everything they could think of to help me feel comfortable to say "yes" to this amazing car. Julia walked me through my options for payment with cash transaction vs using Honda financing and pointed out how the financing route actually served me better than doing a cash transaction as I originally planned. They crafted an offer for me that was all about helping ensure both parties win with a loyalty discount and discounted some of the added accessories that came on all vehicles. Albert walked me through every step of the credit check, insurance proof and answered any questions I had. He later topped off the car with gas and got the car squeaky clean to come home with me. Next was talking with (Paul?) the financial guy and he was busy helping somebody so I was waiting awhile but Julia made sure I knew what was happening. Eventually, I got to meet with Paul, we took care of all of the financial stuff swiftly and easily. He was a joy to work with! Lastly, Albert walked me through some functionality things on the car like linking the phone with its bluetooth, starting the car and so on. He also introduced me to Craig in the parts department and gave me a coupon to help with accessories/parts. I originally had a poor experience online with poor communication, ghosting and questions left unanswered. Albert, Julia, Paul and Craig at 1st Honda more than counter-balanced that negativity and brought in lots of warm sunshine :) The whole experience was very pleasant, super easy, stress-free and I would heartily recommend him and 1st Honda to anybody looking to buy a new or used car. They're amazing, you will get a fair deal and they will make sure everything is easy :) More
