AI Helped Me Find 400 Cars—But Only One Caleb So, you - jar0101

AI Helped Me Find 400 Cars—But Only One Caleb So, you know you need a (new-to-you) car. You've got a budget that says “practical” and a few must-haves like “starts when you turn the key.” A couple of nice-to-haves sneak in too—because heated seats feel like a warm hug in February. You plug it all into an AI tool, and boom: 400+ vehicles appear within 50 miles. Suddenly, your search becomes less “wow!” and more “why?” After a month of virtual shopping, I began meeting used car salespeople IRL. Turns out, unlike the AI, humans have personalities. Some are genuinely helpful; others treat you like a commission check with legs. By the time I reached Lou Fusz Buick, I had collected more business cards than decisions and was still driving my maybe-I-can-make-it-one-more-week car. Then came Caleb Rowden. In under an hour, we met, he listened, we negotiated, and—hold onto your seatbelt—a deal was struck. No pressure tactics, no mysterious “let me check with my manager” routines. Just a straightforward conversation that felt less like a transaction and more like teamwork. Even after the sale, when I had questions, Caleb was on it—like the kind of friend who actually answers your text instead of liking it and disappearing. If you're looking for a car and want to skip the quota-chasers, start with Caleb. He’s got character, integrity, and shockingly, isn’t allergic to honesty. Yes, I’m aware I just said that about a car salesman. And no, I haven't lost my grip on reality.

As someone who had worked in the industry for many years, - Kevin

As someone who had worked in the industry for many years, buying any newer vehicle can be frustrating. Bruno Borda, and Jace Howell made every effort to change that. The pricing on the GMC was fair, and they honored everything we agreed on. The finance process was easy, and Jace explained all the options available for an extended service contract. Selling new and used vehicles is a tough job, and I really respect the job they did at Cardinal Buick GMC

Great Experience - Nation

We shopped all over but came back to Max Dye. We found that other car dealerships lure you in with great internet prices but once you are there, it does not pan out so well. The experience has always been great from the sales to the service. The sales department is very upfront with a good balance of not being too pushy but very knowledge and willing to answer all your questions. We enjoyed working with Chad. He spent a great deal of time making sure we were well oriented with our new purchase. The other great part of purchasing from Max Dye is having such an efficient, helpful service department. Steve has always taken great care of us. The owners are also very friendly, helpful and personable.

I can't say enough good things about this dealership. - RafeGaret

I can't say enough good things about this dealership. They came back with a deal so good, I flew from NY to get it. Even picked me up at the airport in St. Louis and delivered me. If you are looking for a new RAM, check them out. Shout out to Ashlee and Brock, they were easy to work with.

Last month bought a SVU and the sales and service areas - kperjak1

Last month bought a SVU and the sales and service areas were top notch. Steve in sales and Ron in service went above and beyond. I highly recommend using Ed Morse Chevrolet GMC Red Bud for your next car purchase. You will not be disappointed.

Will never buy at this dealership again! - Mimi

We bought a car for my son after he totaled his SUV. I was given 2 prices. One price with brakes and one price with brakes and tires. I was told they would not sell it without new brakes. We bought the car with brakes and tires so we knew he was safe after just having a horrible wreck. Fast forward a year and a half later and about 5,000 miles. I had to pay to have brakes put on the car. I will never buy another car there or have any car serviced there!

The worst customer service we've ever had will never buy - donaldicke

The worst customer service we've ever had will never buy a car from there ever again

I would not recommend this dealership to my worse enemy. ... - parris314

I would not recommend this dealership to my worse enemy. Bob Brockand Jr. is a complete phony and is completely out for himself. I purchased a car from this dealership and brought it back three times for the same problem and they kept telling me that there was nothing wrong with it. Finally of course the warranty ran out and now we are stuck with a car that has a front end problem that will cost us at least 1300.00 dollars to fix. They were rude to me and my husband. Bob Brockland Jr. told my husband that he was " too sensitive and needed to chill out". That he was not going to fix anything and hung up on him, mean while we are still making month payments every month. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not put yourself in the same position. We thought they were good people at first, but CLEARLY it was all show to get us to buy a car.
