From the first time that I rolled into the dealership nothing but Professionalship. I have brought my GMC truck in for two oil changes and everyone was great. Waited for the truck to be done and it was done in a very reasonable time. I will always bring it to KOONS GMC.

Took the vehicle in for a recall and a diagnostic of an issue on 9/23 at 7 AM (appointment booked). I was told it would cost $250 to diagnose the issue and that I could apply it to repairs done on the vehicle or be charged the $250 if I do nothing. He told me I would receive a call that afternoon to discuss the vehicle’s issue. Left the dealership and went home to wait. I was not given a status update on the vehicle all day, despite sending a text and leaving a message with the service receptionist for the Advisor to call me back. I had to call on 9/24 for an update after the dealership had the vehicle for 24+ hours; I was told the issue still wasn't identified, and the recalls were not done. Said I would have an update later that morning. At approximately 11 AM, I received an email quote for SEVERAL issues, not just the one I brought it in for, and a text from the advisor stating that I had a quote for the work. Due to the exorbitant amount they wanted to charge, we did one service that was more than $250. Upon picking the vehicle up on 9/25, I was presented with a bill for over $533, and I asked why I was being charged the $250 despite having a repair/service done that was presented in the quote, and he stated that I did not have the repair I brought the vehicle in for, so I was being charged, yet the diagnostic quote was for ELEVEN items. A completely shady, rip-off scam, and this is why I WILL NEVER buy a car or have a repair done on my vehicles at ANY Ourisman dealership. This dealership deserves ZERO stars but I have to give it one so it can be posted.

I leased my 3rd Cadillac today using my same salesman, Robert Alexander at Capital Cadillac. Once again, Robert was able to anticipate what I wanted and like, He was able to have precisely what I wanted and what suits me. It is refreshing to have someone in this business who does not make you feel "pressured" and who honors what I think is right for me. In years past, I have had the opposite opinion of some car dealers and salesmen. Not only was Robert hospitable, Kevin Graham remembered many things he and I had discussed 3 1/2 years ago when I leased my last Cadillac. These personable touches make a customer feel appreciated and that they are not being "sold a bill of goods." LOL. Even if we are, I feel better about it because the dealership is so helpful and concerned about making my experience wonderful.

Used car purchased at Chevy Chase Cars incurred $8000 worth of repairs within 2,000 miles of purchase, major parts failures that would have had to have been noticed by any competent inspector leading me to believe all they do is wash and wax. Dealer refused any responsibility. Would NEVER recommend.
