This is the fifth vehicle we’ve bought from Hempstead - johnb

This is the fifth vehicle we’ve bought from Hempstead Ford, and the fact that we keep coming back says most of what you need to know. We’ve bought enough cars to know what a good dealership feels like, and it comes down to being treated fairly, getting straight answers, and never feeling like a number on a board. Hempstead Ford has delivered that every time, and our 2027 Explorer xx-Line was no exception. We were coming out of a Ford Edge, and we’ll admit we had some concerns going in. The Explorer is a bigger vehicle, and we worried it might ride more like a truck. We’d done our homework on the trim and pricing beforehand, and Frank met us with the same professionalism and ease we’ve come to expect. The test drive was relaxed and unhurried, and we took the xx-Line out on local roads. Our worry disappeared quickly. The Explorer does not drive like a truck. The ride is outstanding, composed and quiet, and honestly even better than the Edge. It also has a sportier look and feel than we expected from a three-row family SUV, and the cabin and large touchscreen made it easy to picture daily life with it. We knew by the end of the drive that it was the right choice. The sales process was just as smooth. Pricing was transparent, our questions got clear answers, and we reached a deal without any drawn-out back-and-forth or pressure. Frank knew the xx-Line well, including how it differs from the other 2027 Explorer trims, and he respected that we’d already done our research. Finance was equally painless. Mike walked us through the paperwork clearly, the numbers matched what we’d discussed, and nothing in the final contract surprised us. After five purchases, what keeps us loyal is consistency. Every visit has been handled by people who respect our time and our intelligence, and this one was no different. The Explorer has lived up to that first impression, and we’re looking forward to many miles in it. We’d recommend Hempstead Ford, and both Frank and Mike in particular, without hesitation to first-time buyers and longtime customers alike. Overall experience: 5 stars.

I was in search of a Bronco Sport and had gone to many - HAIKINA

I was in search of a Bronco Sport and had gone to many websites looking for a particular trim. I came across the Out Banks in this beautiful Eruption Green at Empire Ford in Huntington.. It was a loaner car with very low mileage. I would have preferred new, but Kelly from the internet team gave me a great price and showed me the discount by presenting the original and post sticker price. I went in initially just to inspect the features and ended up driving out with my Bronco within a few hours. The managers Sam & Mike introduced me to Brad Simon, the Sales Specialist. This guy was so accommodating, going over every one of the elaborate features of the Sport. It's a lot to digest and it'll be a learning experience. He offered me a great price on my trade in, so that secured my down payment. We went for a test drive and the Bronco rode beautifully. I already had been preapproved for a loan so Jayson finalized the financing. Brad went over every inch of the Bronco, showing me all the incredible features such as the leather trim seats, moon roof, lighting all over the place and all the modern digital features on the screens. The digital 13 inch screen is amazing. I'll have to give myself daily lessons. I am so pleased to have run into such a great sales team. When I had gone to another dealer, there was an issue with the sunroof on my trade in. I was going to have it repaired since I had still had a lifetime warrantee, but the other dealer wanted nothing to do with my Jeep, which was really in great shape. . At Empire, they said they would have the repairs made without the insurance and gave me a great trade-in value. One less thing for me to worry about. I was surprised at how accommodating this entire team was after the other dealer rejected me. So within a few hours I was driving my new Bronco home. They don't make this metallic green anymore so I was so happy to have found the one dealer that had this in stock. It amazes me how the colors change at the various times of the day when the sun hits just right. I also wanted to mention that I was having trouble with the alarm system and the service team offered to send out a mobile repair unit. I thought that was so nice. even though I eventually solved the problem. So many digital features to be learned. Thank you, Brad for a wonderful buying experience that couldn't have gone any better.

Always Courteous and understanding Got us in right away! From the sales to service dept. Everyone is great

After a $1,600 repair failing to fix the same initial - byazid redoy

After a $1,600 repair failing to fix the same initial whining noise, they bribed me with a loaner car (after keeping car 2wks) and a "promise to make it right" only if I gave them a 5-star Ford survey rating first. Total scam artists. They performed major work without my authorization and lied to my face about the $999 credit Ford Corporate sent them. No one explained or informed what is my bill how much will warranty cover, how much will be out of pocket. When I asked for a bill explanation, the manager yelled, cursed, and told me to walk home (50 miles) after taking the loaner back. After over $6,400 in total payments, my car STILL has the same issue, and they won't even sit in the car to verify their "work".

Amazing and reliable dealership. - Shewolf1919

Amazing and reliable dealership. Andy has always been our favorite salesman because he is honest and wants his customers to be happy with their purchase. This year we purchased our daughter's new Ford Escape, financed our return lease Ford Explorer and leased a new Ford Explorer ST. We are a very satisfied Ford family and appreciate how easy it is to do business with this dealership. Everyone there is courteous, professional and really care about their clients.

I just picked up my 3rd leased vehicle from Sal A. - Ev Davila

I just picked up my 3rd leased vehicle from Sal A. at Ford of Englewood. I liked my first and second cars - both Escapes. This year I went with the Bronco Big Bend. Love it! Sal makes the lease renewal process seamless. He knows what I am looking for and takes it into consideration before proposing several options. I fully trust Sal and appreciate how easy he makes this process for me. In between lease renewals, Sal is quick to answer and questions and to provide recommendations on any decisions I make regarding my vehicles. I greatly appreciate that!

They sold a car claiming higher trim level and no coolant - katherinemaines

They sold a car claiming higher trim level and no coolant causing white smoke coming out of exhaust and tried to blame us it was to have been ford certified pre owned. This is as SHADY

this is absolutely the most expensive and either - danmoses

this is absolutely the most expensive and either incompetent or totally rip-off places my friend has been to. He's spent 13k on his two cars there in the last few months (on nothing major - no transmission or motor or ANYthing like that. Jeannette will take care of you nicely lol. TWICE, after charing a couple of thousand, the car didn't work and they had to "do something else" - one time with an added charge. 2800 dollars for a fuel pump - and he got it back and the car didn't work 2 days later...she said the part wasn't available so they tried to do it without the part. lol...This is a dealership? It's embarrassing!!!. And it's continuous

I leased a Mach-E from Schultz Ford in July of 2025. - mpo

I leased a Mach-E from Schultz Ford in July of 2025. I live in Massachusetts, but this dealership had the car I wanted in stock, so I chose to lease from them. The salesperson I worked with was excellent, and the initial paperwork process was smooth and efficient. Unfortunately, everything that followed has been very disappointing. Because the car needed to be registered in Massachusetts, the General Manager explained that the process might take about a week, since it would have to be routed through a Massachusetts dealership. That seemed reasonable at the time. After not hearing anything for over 10 days, I contacted the GM to check the status. He told me the registration was completed, that I could continue using my old plates, and that documentation would be sent shortly. When I verified this with the Massachusetts RMV, however, they had no record of the VIN and confirmed my plates were still registered to my old vehicle. The GM had lied to me. Since then, I’ve been driving with a New York dealer plate loaned to me by Schultz Ford. At the time of writing this, it has been almost nine weeks. New York regulations only allow dealer plates to be loaned for five days, which leaves me in a precarious legal situation if I get pulled over in New York. The dealership has not demonstrated that it knows how to complete an out-of-state registration, and the lack of communication has been especially frustrating. Updates are never provided proactively—I have to initiate every conversation, and return calls or texts almost never arrive as promised. To make matters worse, the dealership’s website offers no staff directory or clear avenues for escalation. Short of making another long trip back to the dealership, I have no way to identify who could actually resolve the situation. In short, I’d recommend that buyers avoid Schultz Ford of West Haverstraw. While their sales team was friendly and efficient, their failure to complete the registration process, combined with poor communication, has left me with an unregistered vehicle months after purchase. There are plenty of Ford dealerships around, and you can do much better than this one.
