I have a 2016 smart for two that the dealership has failed to correct the random activation of the alarm system. It goes on at random times of the night. They cannot fix it for the life of them. Was brought in multiple times. Their final solution was to disconnect the alarm system? Really? A car that’s under warranty multiple attempts to fix it and your solution is to disconnect it?
The other issue is when they replaced the headlight they completely misaligned they bumper and the hood and broke one of the clips from the lights. They asked me to bring it back after sending them pictures. They said oh yeah. We screwed up because it’s a difficult part to replace but everything still remains misaligned and the clip still broken. I am tired of making pointless trips here and leaving my car to come pick it up again at another time or day.
Better to pay for local mechanic than go here for anything! They know more about the car than the dealership itself.
The car is purchased for work and my wife is to purchase a Mercedes after the quarantine, and it definitely will not be from this dealership.
