The best thing was the whole process was so fast, typically dealerships take 4-5 hours for the process, this took 3. That is from test driving a few, trade in, financing, getting the new car ready. I will Absolutely recommend not only ECarOne but Elias to friends and colleagues. Thank you for making it so easy!! More

As with most things in life, Ecar is a mixed bag. Adam was very helpful and easy to work with. Wanted to test drive a few cars and he got them ready gave me the key and sent us on our way. No h Adam was very helpful and easy to work with. Wanted to test drive a few cars and he got them ready gave me the key and sent us on our way. No hard sell, Very easy. The transaction went quick once I decided on a car. That is was the good. This is a crappy market to buy in. I was forced to buy due to a hit and run which totaled my car. The biggest, actually the only beef with Ecar is the over priced BS add on fees on the back end. Basically, any price you see on their site is short 2k. These are non-negotiable fees (especially in this market). The charge $1,000 for somethig called VVP and another $1,000 for "appearance protection" I do not remember which was which but for the $2k you get window tint, which in my case was installed by an amateur. I have small bubbles on the rear window and on a side window. You also get some paint protection film. The film is good but but not worth the price they charge. They put a clear protective film (think window tint but thicker) on the door cups, trailing edges of the door and on the top of the bumper at the trunk. The also claimed to put some stain guard on the interior. In my case, when I decided on the car and I saw the charges, I went out to check the car. The paint film was not installed. Since I did not want it in the first place, I though we could just take the cost of that off. Nope....they put it on (took about 15 min, materials were probably a few bucks but that was part of the $1k. Since that was not done when they got the car, I seriously doubt the interior protection was done either but no way to prove that. I have a company that I take my cars to for tine and paint protection. He can tint and put the film on the whole car for under $1k and in all the cars he has done for me, the window tint is flawless. The film he puts on covers the leading edge of the hood (about 1.5' up) the fenders, head lights (so they will not cloud up) mirror backs and door cups. I could have had everything done to the car (and more with better quality) for half the price. Now I have to live with shoddy window tine because it is too costly to remove and have done correctly. I get it. Its a sellers market. Just jack the price up by $2k and call it a day. Don't make it seem like I'm getting a car for $1k when it is really $3k. That is misleading and leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Especially when it is for crap I do not want or for stuff I am not convinced you even did (interior stain protection). I love the car. Very happy with it. More than I thought I would be. Hate feeling like I got screwed. Had they priced it $2k higher I probably still bought it because it's what I wanted and below my price cap. Instead, I paid $2k for garbage I did not and do not want. I do not know if I would recommend them. I suspect all/most dealers are pulling this stuff right now because they can. I put "yes" for recommend but there is a big qualification with that "yes". More
