Dealer didn't disclose a safety recall affecting the High-Voltage battery and ignored a "Do Not Deliver" order from Ford Motor Company due to this issue. In addition, the dealer added the FMC $3,500 Ext High-Voltage battery and ignored a "Do Not Deliver" order from Ford Motor Company due to this issue. In addition, the dealer added the FMC $3,500 Exteneded Warranty without my consent and charged me a whopping $2,999 "Enviornmental Fee" supposedly to buy down my high interesest rate to 13.39%! However, the better rate was nearly 3% higher than my pre-approval from Capital One Auto Finance and they eventually used Capital One Auto Finance. The dealer never directly informed me of this unreasonable fee and hid it in the paperword that was not provided to me after closing. They only went over a summary sheet which didn't call out this fee, but did show the warranty and GAP insurance (which I did request). I have never had to pay a $2,999 fee to get auto fianancing and certainly never a $2,999 Environmental Fee. Due to the initally added $6,499 + NJ Tax to my contract, my payment is an astronomical $731/mo, when it should have been around $575/mo, costing me over $11,232 over 72 months. I asked the dealer to cancel the extended warranty but the finance company has not received it yet, hopefully they will soon, but that doesn't lower the monthly payment but will reduce the total interest paid/life of the loan. They refused to refund the $2,999 Enviornmental Fee. If you decide to purchase a new or used car from this dealer, be on the lookout for astronomical fees and don't let them rush you through the sigining process and request ALL final paperwork. More
