Price Agreed - Disagreed? After driving down from CT to purchase a specific car - I went out on a test drive - was told that the car was priced closely to the sale price (etc e After driving down from CT to purchase a specific car - I went out on a test drive - was told that the car was priced closely to the sale price (etc etc). Made an offer of $500 off list price which was agreed to by the salesman I was dealing with (hardly a lowball offer as I had a genuine rapport with the salesman and I wanted to get in and out quickly (I had my family with me / it was 90 degrees out)) - all was good in the world. Documents started to be drawn out, car was put into the mechanics for some reason, all in all about 2hr 10 mins. Just as I am about to tell my wife to take the kids home - over walks Fabio (the manager). He advises me what a great car it is and that they now won't be taking $500 off! Oh - that old dealer trick - here was me thinking this was a BMW dealership. That was it. I wasn't going to change the price we agreed to and Fabio wanted his $500. So we left. I can only think that had another buyer or something else was going on - as another review mentioned - something sketchy about this place. It looks like a BMW dealership from the outside - but totally stereo typical used car on the inside. As they say - you can't put lipstick on a pig. More
