Stay far away from Way Scarff Ford. I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership for approximately $55,000, and shortly after getting it home I discovered a major oil leak. When spending that kind of money on a vehicle, you would expect much better quality, inspection, and customer care than what I have experienced. The vehicle has been at the Chevy dealership since June 15th for diagnosis and repairs. The original issue was identified as a leaking timing chain cover. However, once the technician began disassembling the front of the engine, he discovered an additional oil leak from an oil block-off plug that also requires replacement. What initially appeared to be one issue turned out to be multiple oil leaks requiring significant repairs. What makes this even more concerning is that Way Scarff Ford stated they performed an oil change before selling the vehicle. If that is true, it is difficult to believe these leaks went unnoticed. Any technician performing an oil change should have seen oil leaking down the front of the engine and identified the problem before the vehicle was sold. As a customer, I expected a vehicle that had been properly inspected and was ready to drive. Instead, I purchased a $55,000 vehicle that immediately required major engine repairs and has spent a significant amount of time in the repair shop since purchase. The entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. When spending $55,000 on a vehicle, you should not be dealing with major oil leaks days after taking delivery. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Way Scarff Ford, I strongly recommend having it independently inspected before signing any paperwork. Based on my experience, I would avoid this dealership altogether. More
