Very pleasant and professional experience. I recently bought a 2012 Outlander GT with only 26,K miles on it from Joe Gonzalez at Wantagh Mitsubishi.I had actually come in for a similar Outlande I recently bought a 2012 Outlander GT with only 26,K miles on it from Joe Gonzalez at Wantagh Mitsubishi.I had actually come in for a similar Outlander with 47K miles but this one had just come in and Joe was good enough to show it to me right away. It was a very pleasant and low pressure experience;we negotiated back and forth like Gentlemen and reached what I consider a fair price below the listed Kelly Bluebook value. . No high pressure or "salesman" fast talking. I think it helped that I had done my research knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend and was ready to buy. The Business Manager Mark Perlberg was also helpful, I told them upfront I had pre-approval from my Credit Union and showed him the rate, he was able to beat it! Can't ask for a more pleasant buying experience. Mark offered me the usual extras when I picked up the car, extended warranty, paint protection, rim protection etc. I got the extended warranty because I am a "Buy and hold" guy with cars and will probably keep this one for another 100K miles, but that is a personal decision. Most consumer websites tell you to avoid these, but I like the piece of mind and I know I will have the car for a long time. One other note, they tried to charge an $800 Dealer "prep" fee (they call it something different) you can negotiate this down, i got them down to $295 and also negotiated the price of a remote start as well as the warranty, don't be afraid to make a counter offer.
