It is frustrating to have all my settings changed (I drove without lights because I'm used to auto and it was turned off. I was notified of a recall when I checked in and given some expectations for the extended time it was going to take to complete the service I came in for and this unexpected repair (it took over 3 hours to complete). My biggest disappointments were the fact that I was told that I have to just call in monthly to see when a back ordered part is available as there is no system to notify me once it arrives and that I had to wait 15 minutes for my vehicle after I was instructed that it was being pulled around (3 other customers who came over to get their vehicles after me, all got their vehicles before me). My concern is that whoever drove my Highlander left a lot of slush inside the vehicle and on the step plate into the vehicle. I understand it's winter in MN and boots get full of the crud, but your service facility is inside so where did you this come from? I just had my car washed the day before and I know the mats and threshold were clean before bringing it in for service. You car runners need to take more care with customer's vehicles. More
Professional service at Walser Toyota! Love their clean & bright facility. On this visit I needed a new 12v battery and had to rush because my brother was experiencing a health episode. I have owned Toyota vehicles for over 40 years. The rep first tried to explain that this was due to snow(!). Then after consulting with his "manager" said that tires and alignment issues are not covered under warranty. This issue should have been noted and addressed during the 5K and certainly the 10K service. It was not. Walser's failure to correct this issue resulted in excessive wear and will eventually cause early failure of these tires. Even now and with AWD the vehicle skids during turns. Buried on the 5th page of the service inspection results next to a green check mark is "Needs alignment" (which was glaringly omitted during the inspection video, which i saved). It's apparent that Walser's strategy was to confuse, deflect and obfuscate to avoid any responsibility. My wife and I, both seniors, are now driving an unsafe vehicle - the result of the dealer caring more about the bottom line than customer safety. More
