Want to give service 5 stars however when I called was told shuttle service was available. Upon arrival told it was not available and must have been the call center that answered the phone. Just an hour ago, I wrote a scathing review of this dealership because of a shredded tire, the need for a $256 tow since they had put the wrong locking lug nut into my glovebox, a miserable 5 hour wait dealership because of a shredded tire, the need for a $256 tow since they had put the wrong locking lug nut into my glovebox, a miserable 5 hour wait on the highway for that tow truck, a five day wait to receive the tire, a $200 out of pocket expense for a replacement tire (even though I had their "total tire insurance" option), and now another five day delay because they simply forgot to order the replacement the tire, which defies explanation or belief. One cannot help but wonder when they would have ordered the tire if I had not called about picking up my car. Almost immediately after submitting that review, which I got absolutely no pleasure in writing, I got a call from Bill. He was very polite, highly respectful, and very apologetic, wanting to know what they could do to repair our relationship and to re-earn my trust in their dealership. Unfortunately, not much can be done I suppose at this point, since I won't get reimbursed for the $256 tow charge, I will have to pay $200 for the replacement tire (it cost $398 but the insurance will pay $200 of that, so I am told), and I will never get back that 5 hours on the highway; I will never get back sitting in my office for hours and finally returning home at 10:00 pm when my wife was finally able to drive from our home in Corsicana to Baylor (Waco) where I work to pick me up; I will never get back the missed opportunity to travel to see family for Thanksgiving (after years of not being able to celebrate with family because of this stupid epidemic and its politics; I was really looking forward to seeing family again that I have not seen for years), and I will never get back the last two weeks that I have been without transportation. But still ... we always have choices. I can choose to dwell on these events and be forever bitter about them, or I can choose to forgive and move on. While Bill cannot really do anything to make my experience as if it never had happened, he did the best and only thing he could do. He read the review, felt terrible about it, and immediately called me to apologize. I am certain that making that call to a very unhappy customer was an act of courage and humility. Sometimes, when we have caused another person harm that cannot be undone, the only thing that we can is to step up to the plate and sincerely apologize. Bill did not rationalize or defend; he simply listened and sincerely apologized and I thank him for it. More
