Michael Schetz has been by far the very best car sales person I have ever had, and I have purchased several cars at various dealerships. Mike gives the customer all the time and attention they need in making an important decision, such as purchasing a new car. His professionalism and quality of the time spent with me can not be topped. He was very courteous and personable. He took the time to go over every feature, button, etc. of my car when it came in. I searched Valley Motors' new inventory on their website. Found the Outback with the options I wanted. I clicked the "Get Quote" button and promptly received an email reply with a very fair price. I checked around to find out what others were charging for a similarly equipped Outback and Valley's price was better. I arranged a test drive with Jorge, who was very knowledgeable, answering any questions of mine. It was a very pleasant test drive, we had good communication with a lot of laughs as well. We got back to the dealership and I had decided that I would go for it. I told Jorge I was interested in purchasing the Outback and handed over my keys to my car to be appraised. I had a figure in mind that I wanted for my trade-in, after a lot of research on many websites. The appraiser came back with a figure that was close, but a tad low, we agreed on a figure comfortably in the middle and it was settled. Jorge introduced me to Steve Novak who handled the financing. He and I also hit it off well, seeing as we were both avid cyclists, we shared our stories and overall had good communication. We went over the usual credit things, then any upgrade packages, and at no time did I feel pressure to buy any of the packages, he simply went over what was available. While Steve and I were settling up the financing, Jorge had gotten the new car prepped and washed for delivery. Once all the paperwork was signed, Jorge helped me transfer my things from my trade-in to my new Outback as well as installing the new tags. It was easily one of the most pressure/hassle free new car purchases I've ever had. The next day I realized in my excitement, that I forgot my CD's out of my trade-in's stereo. I called Jorge and he went and got them all out for me and had them waiting for at his desk to pick up. I have since been back in to pick up some Subaru accessories, and have gone back to talk to both Jorge and Steve, both warmly greeted me by name, and even offered coffee. More
This was the 5th Subaru that I purchased from Valley Motors. In one day less than a month I was in an accident where the other driver made a left turn taking my right away, and totaling my brand new Sub Motors. This was the first accident I had ever been in and I had no idea what to do. My salesman at Valley Motors for the past two vehicles I had puchased, Mike Shetz had made my experiences there so great that I trusted him and his opinion, not something one would normally feel towards a car salesman. Distraught over the destruction of my new Subaru, I called Mike and asked him where I should have the car taken for body work, what I should do. Mike kept me on the phone while he walked over to the body shop and spoke to Steve, the manager in the body shop. Mike arranged for me to have a "loaner" while my car was being repaired and had Steve call me and reassure me that he would make sure that if the work to repair was going to leave the car permanantly damaged that he would push to ensure that I got a new vehicle. Both men went above and beyond to give me confidence in what the end result of this devastating experience would be. When the insurance company called and told me they were totaling the car, I called Mike and told him and asked him to look for another car as close to the one I had just lost as possible. This was 4:50PM. Mike found that the exact same car, same color, same package, had just arrived at Valley Motors 3 days before. He spoke to Steve Novak, the finance manager, and together, they made it possible for me to pick up my new car at 7PM that night. When I arrived, both men were concerned about what had happened and if I was hurt in the accident. Not only was my experience purchasing a vehicle a pleasant one, I find the people that work at Valley Motors to feel more like my friends, people who truly care about me, and not just because I am a customer.
