sales Sat 6-6-20 came to look at trucks. Receptionist was on phone and that is understood but she didnt even look up. after 10 minutes of standing there fin Sat 6-6-20 came to look at trucks. Receptionist was on phone and that is understood but she didnt even look up. after 10 minutes of standing there finally a salesman walked up. salesman that day did a good job showing the truck. decided we wanted to buy the truck. Called Monday and got a woman on the phone. I could not understand half of what she said. Bad phone connection on your end and broken English. It was very frustrating. Got a call back from Alex. Told her I wanted to buy the truck. She said she had to send me paperwork. She didnt send it so I called on Tuesday. Alex was off. Got another salesman. started all over. Was told we needed to do credit app. Was told we have to come in and do the paperwork. Sent over company officer to do paperwork. Wasted 4 hours playing games on phone waiting for paperwork. I told all these people we had a company credit line with Ford. The last 5 years we have been adding 2 to 3 F-350 trucks to our fleet. We run a business and found all this extremely frustrating. Normally we go through our sales guy. Order a truck. It comes in and they deliver it to us. All the paperwork is complete, we sign and in 10 minutes they are on the way and we have a new truck. All pretty simple and causes very little disruption to our business. Because this was the truck our owner wanted and you would not transfer it to where we have a relationship we did not have any choice but to deal with you. I just dont understand why when someone calls and says I want to buy this vehicle. I have seen it. I want it. sale it to me. It has to becomes this huge event and a waste of valuable time. Out of all this we expect that the person that should get the credit for this sale is Jose, the person that showed us the truck on 6-6-20. he did a really good job. Just so you know, last summer we bought a GMC from a different dealer. A $65,000 truck. I met with the salesman told him what I wanted. 3 days later he showed up with the truck and the paperwork. This loan was not on our credit line but again it was extremely easy and the only time spent was the one visit when I said I want that one. I also get the fact that you likely dont deal with many people that walk in and know what they want and dont have to be sold. You should teach your people how to identify those to ease the sales process so it is not so frustrating. More
