My overall experience was great. I did not feel pressured to buy, but was given enough information and options to keep me there looking and asking questions. After some discusson about a Camry, it pressured to buy, but was given enough information and options to keep me there looking and asking questions. After some discusson about a Camry, it was recognized that was too much for my budget and the Corolla was introduced. Price could have been a little lower but was acceptable. That in addition to 0 % financing, and 2 year free maintennace were the deciding factors. More

I have been searching for a car for over eight (8) months in PA and in NJ. Not many people were willing to listen to me because I do not have much credit history and also have student loan debt. Also, when I in PA and in NJ. Not many people were willing to listen to me because I do not have much credit history and also have student loan debt. Also, when I mentioned that I would only be able to put $1,200 to $1,500 down other dealers stopped all talks. Even the "everybody drives" lot was of no help in getting me into a car like promised on the radio ads. When I arrived at the Halterman's lot I met Tracy in the middle of a rain/hail/thunder storm to see what you had to offer. With my past experience and no expectation in even getting close to buying a car I was hesitant at even test driving a few vehicles. I took several cars on a test drive and fell in love with the Saturn. Tracy was very knowledgeable and honest (which you do not find everywhere in a car salesman). He asked me questions, I asked him questions and he gave his opinion based on my feedback. We talked about price and financing briefly and the next thing I knew I was driving home in the Saturn. The finance department also worked with me when others wanted nothing to do with a "little credit history college grad." Halterman's will always get a good referral and everyone there was very friendly and did not talk to me like I was dumb or an idiot when I asked questions. Overall it was a great experience. More
