Went to pick up my vehicle… I assumed it was done after 6 hrs but no one called me to let me know. Stood in line 12 min at the cashier; then was told I had to walk to the other side of the service drive and ask my service advisor for my paper work. Hes not there; on a ‘break’. Waited 10 more minutes then asked some random person to help me. SHOW OF ATTITUDE BY RANDOM PERSON. Such an xxxxxxx about it I didnt even want to ask his name. Nickel & dime the customer. My Tundra is less than 2 yrs old, 18k mls, 1yr+ warranty left, but they want me to pay out-of-picket for maintenance on covered systems. Funny, Rep t My Tundra is less than 2 yrs old, 18k mls, 1yr+ warranty left, but they want me to pay out-of-picket for maintenance on covered systems. Funny, Rep tried upsell me on 2023 model but I think why buy truck brand that I now know uses parts that last less than 2 years & aren’t covered by bumper to bumper warranty or the ToyotaCare that’s included for 2 yrs? To me a factory warranty on new truck means if it’s covered by warranty & has problem or breaks then you don’t have to pay out of pocket to service or repair the system or part with the problem/broken. Prime example, this very 2021 Tundra I own & bought new came from factory with completely broken a/c system, all 9 components filled w metal shavings from compressor & had to be replaced including all fluids, filters, hoses & cleaning the system. All done at no out of pocket cost to me, it did take a year+ for Toyota N Austin to acknowledge my a/c was a lemon from factory & it did cost me time because over that year+ of driving my sweltering truck I had 14 visits to dealership pleading for them to fix a/c. But point is once the acknowledged problem they fixed it at no cost to me. Same truck also came with blown speakers , I recorded audio of fried sound on day 1, which took a staggering 14 months to get fixed, but did at no cost. More
