Timmons Volkswagen of Long Beach

I bought a certified 08 jetta from Timmons in April 11 for my wife. Within a couple of days the door skin (the outside of the door) was coming off. Took it back. Then I noticed the cd player wouldn't take for my wife. Within a couple of days the door skin (the outside of the door) was coming off. Took it back. Then I noticed the cd player wouldn't take cds and the back seat vents were broken. VW said it would be done that day. When they were done, they hadn't replaced the rear vents, they had replaced the dash vents that they broke replacing the cd player. They then said they couldn't fix the rear vents because they had to order them, making their 1 day estimate a lie. Then the driver door wouldn't lock. We called VW corp and had the dealer re-certify the car. During the several trips we were passed by the service manager, owner and his wife with her dogs, but were ignored by them. Completely. Then the passenger door wouldnt lock. The dealer told us 3 days. We went to a different dealer and were seen quickly. Yesterday (9-19) we had to replace both rear door locks. I called VW corporate and complained. Again. I asked if anyone would be fired or penalized. They offered $100 gift card but "cant control what the dealers do." This car was "certified" by Timmons, twice, and things are still failing. More

They did NONE of that. he never came out, he sent his elves to do his business for him. They never even budged on the price NOR suggested another car in our price range. they gave us NO reason to even be there! TERRIBLE!!!! More

My experience with this dealership was not positive in the least. While the sales staff appeared was friendly and willing to be of help his sales manager could well have been the poster boy for all that the least. Didn't buy my VW from them but let them service my car twice. The lady at Service department has horrible attitude toward customers. I simply asked for the maintenance schedule for my car and she replied impolitely: it's all on your manual. That was the first time i had my service. After that I gave them another chance because I thought that she must have a bad day. SO i went back the 2nd time for oil change: Same Shxt. I don't know how she can still keep this job in today's world with her service attitude. I bet she's a relative of the owner or something. Stay away if you want to bring your car in for service More

If you don't want to deal with Mckenna or Commonwealth go to Timmons. They give awesome pricing right out of the shoot. It was nice to see a little dealership compared to the rest of their competition work so hard and effortlessly to make me happy. Drew Polenchar (Sales Manager) has been around VW since he was 18, hard to imagine he has been with them for 13 years. He is a total people pleaser and working with someone who is young and been around VW his whole car career make it even more enjoyable. Thanks again for everything you guys. I cannot give you enough props for putting a smile on my face for years to come. I LOVE MY 2008 R32!!!!!!!! More
