Deceived by omission When I was in the process of buying this vehicle, I told the salesman about the video's I watched on races Ford did comparing the 3.5L Eco-boost engin When I was in the process of buying this vehicle, I told the salesman about the video's I watched on races Ford did comparing the 3.5L Eco-boost engine with the 5.0L and how the 3.5L won in 3 out of four races. I talked about it a few different times and I believe the salesman knew I thought this vehicle had the 3.5L Eco-boost engine in it. I found out after I had purchased the vehicle and was showing the truck engine to somebody who knew what they were looking at, and they told me this was not that motor. It was a 3.5L but not the Eco-boost. I called the dealer and he said he never told me it was an Eco-boost (that is true). I asked if he remembered me talking about it and telling him about the video's I watched of the races. He said he did. I told him I was not making polite conversation, I thought that was what I was getting. He passed me off to Nate, the manager. He was upset with me for accusing them of misleading me. Tried to get my money back and he said he would not be able to get the sales tax money back. I called the Michigan sales tax people and they told me he could get it all back. Called and told him what I found out and he was going to call them and get back to me. He never called back. I decided to keep the truck. I can trade it in later, with a dealer I can trust and get what I want. I have removed all of TERRY HENRICKS FORD signs and decals from my truck. If you are considering to buy a vehicle from them, don't. More
