Best Dealership Experience I've Ever Had For about a year, I had been considering investing in another Volkswagen TDI. Seven years ago, I traded my 2000 VW TDI Beetle (that I had put 350,000 For about a year, I had been considering investing in another Volkswagen TDI. Seven years ago, I traded my 2000 VW TDI Beetle (that I had put 350,000 miles on) for a Honda Hybrid, and I was in the Honda dealership negotiating a deal for, literally, eight hours. So, my past experiences with dealerships have always been wrestling matches; therefore, I had never visited Street because I didn't want to tussle with a salesperson and with finance. Not to mention, I'm a public school teacher, so getting the best financing possible is paramount. For these reasons, I had always been hesitant about even pulling into Street VW. But, out of curiosity, late one Friday evening, I checked out the Street website, and they had a couple of used Jetta TDIs within my price range. So, I clicked a button showing my interest, and James O'Neill, a salesperson, sent me an immediate email, inviting me to swing by to take a look. To make a long story short, Street VW has been the friendliest and most understanding dealership that I've ever experienced. As compared to my past experiences, there was no haggling! Street VW was fair in its pricing, options, and financing, and altogether between the test drive and the finance department, the deal was done in two hours. Overall, Street VW made me feel comfortable and appreciated, and Volkswagen itself has made tremendous improvements in its products, its customer service, and in its service since I purchased my my first Beetle TDI many years ago. From here on out, I doubt that I will ever buy another vehicle besides a Volkswagen, and I certainly won't deal with any other dealership besides Street VW. More
