My vehicle was taken TWICE to these people for service code on turbo charge. Buick Corp is who said take it in because a special warranty has been put in place for known turbo charge problems. First and second time I tell them the codes it was giving and also told them vehicle was using excessive antifreeze. Both times I was told there was not a turbo charge issue nor an antifreeze problem!! When I went to pick it up 2nd time and paid the $1,150 I was quoted to get my vehicle running, I heard it not wanting to crank when service man went to get it! He was not even going to tell me it didn’t want to crank!!! When I told him I heard it and what’s the deal with that? He says he don’t know but he called mechanic and mechanic said he didn’t know why either. They told me take the broken vehicle home and bring it back in the morning! I live 30 miles away! I asked him was he serious and did he really expect me to drive the not repaired vehicle after I just paid him $1,150?!?!! He said yes and bring back tomorrow! I had no choice but drive it. It did not want to crank again after I had made a stop AND ran hot!!! I called and told him they would need to come pick vehicle up because I did not want to break down on the long country road I’d have to take to bring it back. They did come get it and brought it back with A BLOWN HEAD GASKET AND A REPAIR ESTIMATE OF $15,000 AND STILL KEPT THE $1,150 FOR REPAIR THEY DID NOT DO! I am a 14 year Army veteran and a disabled grandmother, due to breast cancer fight, raising my grandson for 12 years and I did not have the money for the $1,150 repair!!!! I sold heirloom jewelry to get the money for the repair because I desperately needed a vehicle. My son in law was in tragic wreck March 2024 and my daughter had had to be his 24/7 caretaker and neither have worked since wreck due to his brain injury. My vehicle was theirs and my only mode of transportation! Kyle L. knew this information and knew how desperately I needed my vehicle to keep my entire family afloat! Not only did they not do the repair correctly but they then blew the head gasket in the only vehicle I had! I do not have money for another vehicle and this has put me and my family in dire straits. It has been almost two months and I still have not recovered from this! Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews on this company before you trust them to do any work in your vehicle! I only wish I had chance to do over! Please learn from my mistake! GO ANYWHERE BUT STOKES TRAINOR! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK AND WVEN OWNER JOE TRAINOR WOULD NOT EVEN RESPOND TO MY ATTEMPTS ON THIS MATTER! LOCAL SERVICE CENTER THST I HAD TO HSVE IT TOWED TO SAID PROBLEMS WERE FROM “TURBO CHARGE NOT REPAIRED”!!!! More
