Ordering a Car Went Well We ordered a Telluride in July, 2019, when they were very scarce and we couldn't find the one we wanted on a lot anywhere in the Southeast. Our neare We ordered a Telluride in July, 2019, when they were very scarce and we couldn't find the one we wanted on a lot anywhere in the Southeast. Our nearest Kia dealer was taking advantage of Telluride scarcity and marking any ordered Tellurides up from the sticker price (supposedly in exchange for extra benefits). Stokes Kia was very upfront and said they would sell any ordered Telluride for the exact sticker price, with no forced add-ons, mark-ups, or mark-downs. All conversations with Stokes Kia were very professional and documented in writing, As a result, we ordered our Telluride from Stokes Kia and are very happy with the results. The Telluride arrived with the exact features we ordered. Stokes Kia called us about 2 weeks before it was to arrive, walked us through the license plate transfer process, agreed to hold the car away from other prospective buyers until we could pick it up, prepped the car perfectly including a full tank of gas, completed all paperwork very efficiently, and made our visit to pick up the car uneventful and pleasant. Special kudos to Owen Fussey for managing the process so smoothly and to Mark Craven for completing the financing details and paperwork so efficiently. More
