My wife and I are expecting our first child soon which means we needed an upgrade to our very reliable but quickly aging '97 Saturn. We were considering several crossover style SUVs. After visiting several profoundly unhelpful dealerships we made it to Stohleman and met with Anson Sam. Anson took a bunch of time answering our long list of questions to help us figure out what we actually needed. After driving several Forester models he helped us make the perfect choice for our family. He even stayed lated so we could buy the our Forester that evening. Anson was generous with his time before and after our purchase and we were completely satisfied with both his and the dealership's level of service. Even by the incredibly low bar the northern Virginia area dealerships and individual salespeople have set - looking at you Browns Arlington Honda - Stohlman Subaru and Anson were fantastic. More

When I started shopping for a new Subaru I was really pleased to meet David Jennings. His friendliness and openness, non-pressure sales technique and commitment to finding me the car I wanted were refres pleased to meet David Jennings. I was willing to wait a month for my car to come in because I wanted to buy from David. I'm glad I did. They gave me the best price from New Jersey to Virginia. And the service was outstanding. Although he was busy, he took the time to teach me all about the car and told me to call him anytime with questions. Even though there is another Subaru dealership close to my job, I will "go the extra mile" to Stohlman because I feel they did that for me. More

I can honestly and sincerely tell you that Mr. Paul Turk was the BEST auto dealer I've EVER dealt with. In the past, purchasing an auto was something I looked forward to in the same category as going to the was the BEST auto dealer I've EVER dealt with. In the past, purchasing an auto was something I looked forward to in the same category as going to the dentist! However, Paul was a breath of fresh air. When I emailed to ask information about the Passat I was looking for, he sent me an email and phone call within minutes, introducing himself and with a quote. Within the next day, he located the car with everything I wanted and contacted me again to set up a test drive. When I came in on Saturday, July 7th, he already had the keys and information on his desk. He was very honest and upfront and was the same in handling my trade-in of my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. Paul introduced me to the team, gave me a bottle of Gatorade, and we went over the features of the car. He did the same during the test drive. After I purchased the car, and before I left the lot, Paul sat in the car with me for well over 30 minutes, showing me how to operate the radio to include the Sirius satellite radio feature and codes to keep my subscription after the free trial if I choose. He went over everything I needed to know about the car. He also programmed my navigation system with my home address and my I-phone to run through the Bluetooth. He also told me about the new owners clinic and said I would receive an email to remind me. He also made my first appointment to get my 90-day courtesy check. He's also phoned me and sent an email, asking how I'm doing withe new car. The Volkswagen Passat I purchased from Stohlman runs like a dream and exceeded my expectations! Paul MORE than EXCEEDED my customer service expectations. His professionalism and knowledge were superior and I would buy again from him in a heartbeat! I've already told several friends about Stohlman and as long as I live in this area, you will have my business! I never dreamed buying a new car with a trade-in could be so painless and quick! It was refreshing to deal with a straight-shooter like Paul to took his time with me and made sure I knew everything I needed to before I left the lot. I never felt rushed for one second nor did I feel that it was dragging out too long. It was a perfect mix. Paul gave me his card and told me to call him anytime if I had any questions or needed help getting my maintenance scheduled. Paul Turk and Stohlman auto exceeded my expectations in every way. Purchased a vehicle from Stohlman online, to be delivered after my arrival from overseas. The VW Tourag was not clean when delivered, had scratches on the paint and stains on the carpet and upholstery ( I s after my arrival from overseas. The VW Tourag was not clean when delivered, had scratches on the paint and stains on the carpet and upholstery ( I specifically asked for a description of these so I would know what to expect). The wiper blades were shot, there were Cheerios in the back seat and some other items were not as promised. Never got info. about the Certified Pre-Owned, had to call about my plates - were still sitting there in their business office though I had been promised it would be sent as soon as they arrived. Salesperson Nora Sokhon was nice, but my feeling was they spared themselves the time and expense of cleaning the car before delivery and the condition of the vehicle was misrepresented. I guess if you are going to see the car in person you can make a more informed decision before buying and negotiating your price. But if you are buying online and planning to have it delivered, beware, that can be taken advantage of. I wouldn't have paid the price I paid for the car had I known about some of these issues, and I feel they could have done a better job of getting the vehicle in shape before releasing it for shipment - they had plenty of time to do it. The vehicle had engine problems about a week after delivery, luckily it wasn't serious and it was covered under CPO, it will soon be a year since that happened and so far so good. Wouldn't buy online again unless I could inspect the vehicle personally before finalizing the deal. Follow up after I voiced my concerns could have been better, and some of these issues might have been out of the salesperson's hands, but my overall experience wasn't great. More

I just got a 2012 GTI from Stohlman VW and had a fantastic experience! Joshua was great! He went above and beyond - initially he spent a lot of time helping me choose which GTI trim would be best fantastic experience! Joshua was great! He went above and beyond - initially he spent a lot of time helping me choose which GTI trim would be best for me, he is very knowledgeable. Then on the day of purchasing the car, he stayed VERY late just to accommodate my work schedule. He then spent hours to explain EVERY detail of the car to me and answered ALL of my questions AFTER I bought the car. The paperwork was an easy and pleasant process. Enjoyed working with Joshua (and he has a great sense of humor)! More
