Down payments are initial payments if you take out a loan not amounts in addition and this $2000 is charged even if you pay in cash or take out another loan so it's clearly a quasi-legal way to get people in the door by giving a fake price. They also had a couple of thousand extra(3-4?) in other fees to the point that the 4 year old used car I was interested ended up being near the price a new 2020 car. I kinda checked out after they told me about the $1,000 fee to not use their loan. More

This dealer pressured me to sign paperwork before telling me a price, made me switch over insurance, and intimidated me the entire time while I listened to them yell at another customer.
