I purchased a brand-new 2025 Kia Telluride on November 11, 2025. On the second day of ownership, the vehicle overheated, leaving my wife and my kids. In the middle of the stretch going to Florida keys. 11, 2025. On the second day of ownership, the vehicle overheated, leaving my wife and my kids. In the middle of the stretch going to Florida keys. stranded for two hours on the side of the road. As a result, I am now stuck with a $40,000 vehicle that failed almost immediately due to a faulty thermostat and put my family in a dangerous and stressful situation. This experience has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable. What made the situation worse was the dealer’s response. I was told that these things are “kind of normal” and that they sometimes happen. That explanation is completely unacceptable for a brand-new vehicle. I have always purchased new cars and have never experienced a failure like this with any other brand. This was my first and will be my last time purchasing a Kia. More
