What brought us back to Smithtown Toyaota was the experience we had with David Sung. He was very knowledgeable, listened to our needs/concerns and made great suggestions. We actually decided to purchase a car that wasn't even on our radar when we started the car buying process. We are so happy with our 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid. David and the team at Smithtown Toyota were not over bearing, didn't put any pressure on us and were completely honest. It was truly a pleasure to deal with them. Lou by far was the best salesman we ever had upon delivery of a vehicle. He spend a lot of time with us going through all of the truck's features, paired both my and my husband's cell phones and answered all of our questions. Worst purchase experience ever My husband and I purchased a new Prius 28 days ago. We still don’t have a registration as the dealership can’t seem to get the certificate of origin. We can’t get clean pass stickers to use the HOV lanes without a registration. We paid for the car in full. We call everyday and have even made multiple trips to the dealership to find out what is going on. We get a different story each and every time. Alex the manger is rude and disrespectful and has no desire to make this customer happy and resolve the issue. This is the most incompetent dealership I have ever purchased a car from. Save yourself a headache and find a different dealership More

Lou Bilous spent a lot of time with us explaining the features of the car and also went out of his way to make sure that we got everything we wanted in the car. He located the perfect vehicle for us. I also have to say that your Business Manager Diego was very professional. He handled the finance and was able to answer all our questions. Lou and Diego are an excellent team. All’s well that ends well To be honest, my experience with Smithtown Toyota was a roller coaster, but in the end they came through. I had been doing research for months on the To be honest, my experience with Smithtown Toyota was a roller coaster, but in the end they came through. I had been doing research for months on the RAV4 Hybrid and when they were finally released in March I began to research where I could get one. I wanted an XLE in blue flame, and began to realize they were harder to find and when they did appear in my searches, they sold quickly. Luckily, I found one and went to a local dealer to get a lease on it. It turned out, the one I found was still in port so they didn’t have it yet, but we were able to come to a lease agreement and I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive, but the salesman assured me that that was a long estimate and it would likely be sooner. At the 6 week mark, I called that other dealership and they told me the order hadn’t been fulfilled—what order, I thought I had leased a specific car that they had found already manufactured? I began to research again and about two weeks later, I found a car that matched the exact specs I wanted at Smithtown. I called the original dealership and they told me if I had to go with another dealership then they understood (apparently they didn’t want my business enough to put the work into a trade with Smithtown). I called Smithtown and was directed to the sales manager Alex. I told him what happened to me with the first dealership and he told me I could have the car at MSRP. My jaw dropped. I told him I had already agreed upon a deal with a local dealership that wasn’t MSRP—no one pays MSRP for a car. He told me that if I could find a better deal locally then I should go to those dealerships and see if they’ll swap. I said ok and went to another dealership in my area (that was a third dealership and different than the original one, of course) and they told me they have a working relationship with Smithtown and it shouldn’t be hard to trade, but the saleswoman there also said if for some reason the trade isn’t doable, she would do everything in her power to get us the car we wanted (much more than the first dealership tried to do). So we signed the paperwork. A few days later, we got a call from Alex and he offered us the car at a price less than MSRP (but still above what we had just agreed upon with the third dealership) I told him if he had offered that when we first spoke, we would have been driving our car leased from Smithtown already, but since he told me to look elsewhere, I did and agreed to a lease locally. At first he told me he wasn’t going to allow a trade with the local dealership and that I wasn’t getting that car, but after some discussion he came around and understood he had shot himself in the foot with us originally by offering MSRP and telling us to go elsewhere if we thought we could do better. Alex then set about getting a trade going with our dealer and we had our car up at our dealer within two days. Now we’re driving it and it’s everything we wanted in a car and we have Alex to thank for that! More
Car Wash I recieved a free complimentary car wash from Kia today, I was told to drive down to Toyota dealership to have it done. Handed the attendant my tick I recieved a free complimentary car wash from Kia today, I was told to drive down to Toyota dealership to have it done. Handed the attendant my ticket and walked to the exit to wait. After my car gets out from the wash , the attendant forces my door mirrors open. The mirrors are powered, he barely speaks English mumbles sorry and smiles. Thank God the mirror aren't not broken. I get into my car and notice the center console open and the stuff in my doors all messed up. This guy went through my stuff. I drove back to Kia and let them know about this. I will never go back for a wash ever again. That's what you get for a "complimentary wash" I also warned the women who was waiting for her car as well. More
